Didn't post yesterday - was awake at 5am when DH awoke to get ready for his flight. Pleased that DS1 offered to drop him off & collect him. Emailed my headteacher to say about letting payroll know I did the first aid course in the summer, to get the £25 a month I'm entitled to. Not sure if it can be backdated 🤞 cooked my dinner for yesterday & today, washed the dishes & did exercises all before breakfast. My pupil was quite cranky all day, but wasn't feeling well, so relieved when they left near the end of the day! DH's flight was delayed from 7.30 for an hour, then he finally left our island at lunchtime! Luckily the could still squeeze him in at the clinic, but meant he didn't get home til 7.50, so a long day. I decided to switch bank accounts, after seeing a switching offer from a programme of Martin's, it all helps.

Whilst checking emails this morning, one popped into my inbox from the life insurance claim - the money should be paid within the next 4 weeks, so happy new year to us!! 🎉🎉 A different day at work. Sorted budgets out for December when I got home. Received an email from employer to say we're all getting a payrise & an extra day's holiday, so a great day money wise 😃 did 2 sewing jobs after a late tea.

Grateful for playing with kittens yesterday, my bed when I finally got there, laughter with 5 year olds, money coming our way, feeling a bit more organised.

Thank you for running November grandmanerd. Must do better in December!
All bills paid, all budgets set, all c word presents bought. Got my turkey yesterday and took it round to Dads who has far more room in his freezer than me. Unfortunately it slithered from my grip and I managed to dent the bottom of his freezer.
Just off to Mr T to get the things I forgot to put on my delivery and make my food bank donation, must remember to check the ‘wants’ whiteboard first.
