Did not spend any money that was not a ys.Grateful for DH being fab, for food ready for me when I got home, for the excitement of tomorrow being payday but still wondering if I am going to get paid - I do not work for free.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for no rain, for my book, for getting a couple of replies to emails that I've been waiting for, for good friends.

I was feeling under the weather also today. Wasn't feeling right when I got home from work last night. Didn't sleep until about 2am and slept right through my alarm, don't even remember waking up and turning it off but I must've done. I'm a person who never sleeps through an alarm and usually wake up before it so I must've been knackered. I called in sick, which I don't like to do but health comes first.
I spent the majority of the day vegetating on the sofa watching Netflix lol. Did manage to hoover and empty the bins but that's about it. Forced myself to go for a quick walk this afternoon so that I at least got some fresh air, and actually feel better for it. Am hoping that resting today will help me get back on form more quickly.
I've moved all monies around to various savings pots and other accounts ready for December.8 -
I went to mum's (mostly powered by caffeine) did lots of weeding and spraying, bagged up some of the shed contents (and jotted down a list of larger items - forgotten that the old dolly truck is behind the shed), broke up a very tatty stool and put it in a bin bag with an old garden seat cover, emptied the post box, put the bins out, took 2 Christmas trees, 1 bag of decorations and one bag of assorted Christmas stuff (tray, table runner, placemats, hat etc) to the cs with the help of a very obliging taxi driver. I was prepared to take the larger tree back indoors if he only had a small car but he decided he would get it in somehow and he did (and helped me carry it all into the shop).
Back home, ate and then a call from the EA - buyers son is still meithering about getting a boiler safety check done. Said I would try the plumber, phoned mum's lodger for the number - he was in the SM but would text the number when he got home. Found it online, plumber was in and is going to squeeze me into tomorrow's schedule. Had to put credit on my phone and then charge it, poor thing was dizzy from overwork.
DS3 and I both did a bit of the wall and I've filled half the green bin with cut back/ down ivy and pyracantha.
Grateful for getting as much as I could, no plans for this evening other than resting, trees delivered.7 -
Still feeling bleurgh here, with a headache from coughing. Sorry to read that there are others that are feeling not their best too.
Popped to the shops today, spent more than I hoped, the prices seem to increase every couple of days at the minute.
Going to have a night off after sorting through the cupboard under the stairs. It is used as a combined pantry and present storage so started reorganisation process earlier when ds was asleep and will hopefully finish it tonight.
Grateful for a relatively easy day and hopefully night, my dc, catching up on some off jobs.2024 decluttering Campaign

Tuesday staying on NSD 12.Dropped DS at school and then went into the office. Met friend who works in an office nearby for a coffee. I paid for the coffee and she paid for the sandwiches.Got an email to say an item I’d posted to buyer on VinTd had been collected. I’ve cashed out the £1.99 but it’ll take a few days to arrive in my bank account.I was hoping that SwagB would send Tezco voucher today so I could use for top up but unfortunately not arrived yet. Hopefully tomorrow.Grateful for meeting up with friend, for a productive day working with team, and for OH making dinner… I can’t remember how I managed going into the office all day and then coming home to make dinner.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7

grandmanerd, that's one very physical day! I must confess that I'm surprised you'd forgotten about Dolly, as she featured consistently in your life for quite a while!
