I got my boys a 'festive sandwich' from The Baker beginning with G. They were utterly weirded out by the idea of gravy and jam in the same baguette. To be fair, there was quite a lot of cranberry sauce in it, which they had not come across before, what with us being of 'the other persuasion'. It did make me laugh though.Top two floors cleaned - I put DS1 to work in the bathroom scrubbing. I foresee chores galore in his future.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

The darkness is drawing, my plants have survived so far, 2 bananas and one aloe, not sure how to wrap up and protect. I'm already on December money wise and looking to join next feed.
I am doing a presentation to my students tomorrow and I'm at 20 slides, but still need to do 20 - so plenty of stuff to get on with tonight, not mentioning that I had all summer to do it.
This month I have also added a new feather to my income stream - museum workshops, first one booked for February. SO things are happening. Hope to start selling prints at some point!
Thank you for running this. See you all in December.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

NSD here, didn't count them this month but need to get back into that habit. Long day at work with many obstacles but supportive management. Been to pilates this evening for the first time, it was harder than I thought but I really enjoyed it!
Still feeling under the weather with cystitis, have a telephone gp appointment booked this evening (I always forget I have private health care when it's perfect for situations like this!).

How is it December already tomorrow?!!
Lots done off to do list and tree is up with lights but no decs but better than nothing for the elf arrival tomorrow. I spent some precious time with my best friend this evening looking at Christmas lights. Really enjoyed it spent money but less than the £20 I had budgeted.Did I tell you I found some Christmas cards in my decorations box. Saves buying more and I really like them. It’s weird though, I do not remember buying them last year.
Healthy food day. No alcohol.
Grateful for: making time for my friend, pretty Christmas lights and pay day.Thank you @grandmanerd for November. See you in December 🎄Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£2607 -
Thanks for November, Grandmanerd, and sorry to hear the wheel came off your walker. You've certainly covered some miles with it.
Thanks to you all for your kind messages after my car accident. I feel much better now, thank goodness. Collected my new-to-me car last night. Seems a good little runner. Courtesy car was finally collected today so everything is nearly sorted out.
Thrifty_Taylor - what a lovely supportive DS you have. We could all do with friend like that.
It's been an expensive month with all that's involved with the accident. Time to cut back and trim Christmas spending to build my emergency pot back up.
DS called round yesterday after visit to doctor. He went up in the loft to get Christmas trees and decs down for mum. Also emptied the huge cupboard under the eaves in his old room and took old speakers, decks, etc to tip. Left large amount of art stuff for me if I want it. Bonus!
Gratitudes: new car so I am mobile again, DS getting Christmas stuff down as we can't fasten the loft ladder properly, hire car going early so I could go to work for a few hours and earn some money!
See you all in December! X

Ending on NSD 12 which I’m pleased with… but I’d still like to hit 15 one of these days!
Grateful for Tezco voucher in my email this morning (spent on bulk buy of teabags and some honey), for DS’s sheer excitement for his advent calendar tomorrow, carry-on cuddles with OH and DS.See you in December, turtles. XxxNST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸8 -
Thank you for December @grandmanerd. It helped me immensely and kept me grounded. Reading along also helped to pass the time when on my breaks, and I did not want to buy doughnuts 🙄 or worse. 🐢's pack their own lunch.
