Mmm soda scones my late Dad would make them on a Saturday night and they were gorgeous dripping with butter and even nicer toasted (also oozing with butter) Sadly not on my menu because of the said butter. I can't be doing with just a scrape so i do without.Still half a stone has come off in three weeks so onwards and upwards with my ryvita and philly cheese .

Some great ideas here guys! I'd love to freeze it in an ice cube tray, but I actually don't have one! I might give it another day, then make scones. I haven't made them in years!
I've not thought of freezing cheese sauce before - does this work well? We've had so many variations of mac and cheese already this year, I might be done with it for awhile yet.
The OH wanted fresher milk for his cereal, and has bought another 4 pints. At 88p, it works out so much cheaper than the smaller cartons we bought before. Looks like we'll have this 'problem' every week!Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

divide it up into 2, 3 or 4 portions in plastic bottles or containers and freeze them as soon as you get it, then you will have 'fresh' milk in the freezer to defrost and useMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

Cheese sauce. The milk will curdle as it heats but the cornflour will stabilise it. Cheese sauce freezes brilliantly. Use a few clean yogurt pots to store it - and take it out as and when. You can even gently heat it up from frozen if you've not much time. Just whisk it around as it melts and it will resume its original state.0
