Trouble is, the NEWBIES thread already has enough info in it, and the Template Defence thread seems like the obvious place for the first steps.1 -
Hate to say it but the court process COULD be shown as a flowchart. Not my forte though.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Item 7 on that checklist explains exactly how to deal with that letter.
Items 8, 9, 10 and 11 on that list are well worth another read too.
Apologies, it's been a long day and to get in to see these letters has scared me. Like I've already mentioned this is really affecting my mental health, I'm not asking you to hold my hand, but please understand I'm not meaning to be annoying or frustrating, I'm just scared to to the wrong thing.2 -
OK so have been back through the Newbies sticky thread and found the info on the N180 form. Filling it in following the advice in the thread. Little confused on the new questions though so hope you don't mind me clarifying. This is what I write in the new D1 where it says about not being heard on papers yes?I am not content for the case to be heard 'on the papers' because that seems to disproportionately give an advantage to a legally represented party. I feel strongly after all these years of intimidating demands from this aggressive parking firm and their agents, that I need a voice at an attended hearing.
Also for E5, Im not sure if I tick yes or no here. I am registered disabled hence having the blue badge and being in this mess in the first place. I have limited mobility and suffer from chronic pain. Does this mean I should tick yes? If I do I'm not sure what else to write on the subject.
Oh almost forgot, one last thing, my nearest court is Cardiff but I read something about a trial where they were holding these things all on paper, am I right? Has that changed since June? I wouldn't really want to go further afield to Newport so am I stuck in a no win?0 -
Anyone able to tell me aswell please how long I have to fill in the N180 and if I need to make adjustments due to postal strikes? Thanks0

the answers are on the newbies thread and on the letter itself
You can actually answer your own questions3 -
nickkinix said:Anyone able to tell me aswell please how long I have to fill in the N180 and if I need to make adjustments due to postal strikes? ThanksThe letter from the CCBC with the N180 tells you when it must be returned by - you must read very carefully everthing sent to you by the Court. You have already posted a picture of it above, the date is very clear to see.Emails are not affected by the postal strike so why would you need to make adjustments?
BBC WatchDog “if you are struggling with an unfair parking charge do get in touch”
Please then tell us here that you have done so.4 -

I didn't know if they would make any exceptions due to postal strikes but of course if I can send it via email that won't be an issue, I just didn't realise.0 -
