It updated its firmware when I installed and works fine.Have exported the usage details from overnight just fine. I deleted the data it initially collected yesterday, just to see how that worked. All looks well. Good little product at that price!Put it on both my VIrgin Hub and seperate (decent) WiFi router last night. BIt depressing to see what they consume overnight. Of course, you can't use the switch to turn them off on a schedule as it can't switch them back on without a WiFi signal.Wouldn't want to do so anyway, as too much relies on the WiFi at all times.

I’ve had my plug for a month and trying to work out the £ usage. I’ve entered 0.22 as the £/kWh figure but the Bill of Past 30 Days is only showing as 0.06£, the energy usage is 11.648 kWh. What am I doing wrong?0

Might have to experiment with that, just out of curiosity.

I'm pretty sure it only shows the cost since you entered a price per unit despite it having usage data for longer

I am disappointed to see that I've now only got data from 11/24/2022 to 12/01/2022 (
) on my Month screen and if I scroll back to October there is nothing. Could this be because I accidentally turned it off at the plug for a few seconds? I've exported the file but that also only has data for end of November (including the days that haven't happened yet).
The Year screen shows a total for November and a little bit for October.
The Calendar shows only 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of November with a total of 4.86kWh (total for those 4 days) and GBP 10.8 (total for the month).
I got the plug for my fridge/freezer and by turning the setting from High to Medium am saving about 0.2kWh/per day. I would buy more for other appliances but the missing data and the dates being out, puts me off.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

Applied updates to home assistant and it found my 4 tappo and is recording again
Been away for a month just as the tapo did their firmware update, shut everything down while away.
It changed the day before we left I just shut everything down.
Potentially a big problem if I had been using them for something real rather than just data collecion for now.
One of the issues with auto updating where the supplier does not keep their components in sync(firmware/app) and 3rd parties have to catch up.
I am using Home assistant(HA) there is a risk that could have failed to perform it did for me, probably should have stayed working.
It took a few days for the HA guys to catch up with the changes.
I think I will be turning auto update off when I start automations.
Might as well add what I am doing next.
Got 4 more and have been testing those before deployment.
The main test is how accurate are they.
Been running a 4w CF and a 60w Incandescent lamp(old car inspection lamp).
HA samples at 30 second intervals and the data can be downloaded.
(Tapo app is not so good)
Still working throught the data
The 4w lamp takes ~15m to use 1Wh(the cumulative unit), the 60w ~1min.
The initial observations.
The 4 P110 are not reporting fixed "current" use there is a narrow range around the nominal.
The ranges are different for each unit.
Not clear exactly what "current" is.
The cumulative data is very close but needs more analysis or longer runs to establish the difference, if there is any, as the 1Wh resolution may not be fine enough.
Might need a higher use device cira 360w+ to get the 1Wh under 10seconds or maybe 1.2kW to get 10Wh per 30sec sample.

@Jami74 - just have a read of the last couple of pages, I've posted a time or two about the date issue which TP Link reckon is a problem with the daylight saving settings - we went from having 'day' issues to having 'month' issues after the clocks changed - my November calendar is now showing October data. They said they would issue a firmware update to address it 'in a few days', but that was a couple of weeks ago.
Apologies for the curt response I'm really struggling to post this on my tablet as I'm not just at my computer.1 -

Good morning. Looks like the new firmware is now available, it hadn't auto-updated, but there was a red dot next to the cog icon when I went to check just now. The new firmware is 1.1.6 Build 221114 Rel. 203339 and it says that it has fixed several bugs in the graph data and the bill this month and says that the app should also be upgraded - I haven't just yet.
At an initial glance (I exported all previous data first in case it was lost, as it warns that it might) it does appear to have fixed the issues I was experiencing - it all looks correct, since my re-boot of my initial 2 x P110s on 22nd October - I can see all of October and November data in the month view and the calendar.
ETA 1: For one P110, it didn't look right, until I went to something else and went back to it, by which time it has sorted itself out and it was now correct.
ETA 2: Be mindful of anything running on one of these when you upgrade, it does reboot the plug, which cuts power briefly. Ask how I found that out! It does warn in tiny writing, but my brain was lagging behind my fingers!0
