Not according to the person at Santander I spoke with, who told me interest is paid on the monthly anniversary of account opening.razord said:
Last day of the month!financialbliss said:For monthly interest, anyone know when this is paid? Skimmed through T&C's, but failed to spot anything. Can't see anything on their website either.

Well that's what they told me themselves. They must be giving out wrong information?razord said:

MSE website says this 2.75% saver is going to be withdrawn at 1159pm tonight (Mon).

That explains it, as I too applied on tuesday and had a OLA reference.xylophone said:Applied last week and had the email stating 3 working days. Still waiting. Now on the telephone and was told my call was being transferred. So far I've waited over 33 minutes. Guess that they don't want my money!I'm an existing and longstanding 123 (Full) account holder and applied last Tuesday.
I received the acknowledgement e-mail with confirmation OLA reference number but nothing else.
I rang the complaints line this morning and was told that my account application couldn't be traced - there was a computer glitch affecting a certain series of OLA numbers.
The customer adviser told me to re-apply immediately and she would ring me back once she had checked that the new application had gone through.
She called this afternoon to say that the application had been received and would be processed but she couldn't give me a time scale because they were working through such high demand!
She also said that I might find that two accounts would be opened and if so that I would be able to close one of them through on-line banking.
You couldn't make it up!

Believe it is closing to new applications.
Existing accounts will be able to continue funding (as normal) after midnight.
Dyor, etc.

As and if the interest rate for existing account holders drops, we'll get 2 months notice.
Nothing to worry, therefore.2 -
"Month" here is defined as "account month" rather than "calendar month" in the same way as e.g. 123 current account.S_uk said:

I've had eSavers (and a 123 account) in the past and they've always paid interest part way through the calendar month, on the anniversary of account opening so I think you're correct!Ed-1 said:

I did specifically ask if it was paid monthly on the anniversary of the day the account was opened, but I assume they must have misinterpreted what I had asked.Ed-1 said:
