I wonder if the fact we both have 123 current accounts made a difference?
Don't think so - see my post above.

You could always send a £1 payment to her account and see if it goes through?Could try that but we wouldn't be able to see whether it was credited to the account, as without the login details there's no way to look. So all it would show is that the transfer hasn't been bounced, or not bounced yet.I'm hoping that the login information letters will arrive in a few days so we can be sure. But I definitely won't transfer more that a trivial amount into an account that I can't access.
I can’t login to mine either until I get all the paperwork through so I’ve only sent £1 to confirm everything is good to go.0 -

- How much do you expect to deposit when the account is open (between £1 and £2 million)?
Do they mean how much you’ll deposit in total or how much you’ll deposit on initial opening?
I put £5000 but I have about £18000 that I’ll be looking to transfer over in the next week - Will that matter?I’m only transferring £1 initially but will be moving around £18000 in stages next week.
I don't think the question is anything to worry about – you will not be bound by the answer. Well I'm no expert, but I think they just want to overall have a guess how much is likely to come in, in case they decide to close the offer as they have warned that they are inclined to do at some point.
i've been with deposit in building societies about 15 or more years and although I cashed most inNot long ago for life developments, I keep an account with all of them even for tiny amounts remembering the hassles there used to be setting them up. The hassles are less than they used to be, but reading people I see they still have some. I also usually keep trickles of money running in - that way they are obliged to send you accounts at least annually, otherwise I think they can Forget them, and you can yourself too!
What has not improved since those old days is then there was a negative real interest rate of about 2%, and now with this brilliant offer the negative interest is about 9%! Two cheers for not losing 12%!Sorry my posts so long - not time write shorter ones.3 -
Agh! 12 pages on this! Apologies if this has been discussed already but I got approved for this on Tuesday and not heard anything since, despite them saying I will get more details within 3 working days. Is there a big backlog? Do they send more details by email or post?0

Security details will be sent by post, so Royal Mail on strike hasn’t helped.

When I applied for the eSaver earlier this week as an existing customer, I was up and running instantly but others obviously haven't been so lucky.2 -
Wednesday morning my wife who is an existing Santander current account holder applied. Received an E mail saying all would be setup in three days. As of today nothing.
