Received a "fee to pay" from the postman today.

I've raised a ticket asking Spectos what they would like me to do with it. Told them that if it was from them, they need to decide and let me know. If it isn't from them, or they don't know, then I won't be paying or collecting the item.
Their response to my query. Because they have no way of realistically knowing if the parcel is one of theirs or not.

”You can pick up the item from your delivery office.

If it turns out to be a test item from mailagents, we would reimburse you with the equivalent points added to your account.

In this case, please send us a clear photo of the envelope and the i.code as well. ”

I wasn’t expecting anything I had ordered,  am 99% sure it’s from them so I used my existing stamps to pay to have it re-delivered.
Working on the basis that it’s one way of having some of my huge surplus of stamps transferred into cash I can use for something else.
I had this recently, I was half expecting another parcel from an impoverished family member so I didn't want to embarrass them by letting them know they had forgotten to put stamps on. Used my stash of stamps, it was eventually re delivered on 23/05. I raised a ticket the same day, with photos of the card and parcel with no postage attached. Since then - no response. I've prompted twice now, and had a subsequent ticket answered! So don't hold your breath!

This does annoy me though as if the item is some junk or business mail where the sender has failed to put enough postage, I want it to go back? I get a couple a year and never pay them (lucky none whilst being on the panel, so far)...

I know you can go and look at the item by going to the sorting office, but the opening hours are so short now at mine I can never get there to do that...

Wish they'd just promise to pay it regardless so I know.

That is exactly the response I have received. Impressed that they responded within a few hours, but didn't address that I don't want to collect if it is not from them.

The reason they would pay is that otherwise I have no interest in collecting it. I'm not going to pay out money for something that I don't want.

    3 scenarios:
    1. It is connected to spectos and they reimburse me. Neutral, other than inconvenience.
    2. It's mail that I have no interest in paying to receive. I lose.
    3. It's mail I want. In this scenario it can go back to sender and they can send again with the correct postage.

For those saying pay with stamps, I have 1st class (£1.35) and large first class (£2.10). I don't have a combination that reaches £1.50. I'm not going to waste a more expensive stamp to be reimbursed £1.50.

Just buy 15p in stamps from a PO. Stick them on the card and the PO will redeliver.

Anyone know what package timetable which has just appeared in the app is supposed to mean? I’ve now got that as well as bundle timetable but I seem to have about 20 overdue packages…
I have the same thing showing on mine too. It's showing eight overdue bundles. The thing I don't understand though is that most are showing for months that I was not even receiving any bundles to post at all. The other two months, I posted every single bundle so this is completely wrong.

I can only imagine that this is another glitch with their app.

But two and three are nothing to do with spectos. So you have one scenario where it might be in their interests to pay out and two where it's not.  I'm really not seeing why you think they should pay for those that they have not sent.

No need to imagine, it is all explained in the latest newsletter.

    New Feature- Package Timetable

You may have seen that there is a package timetable that is now showing on the app.
In the future, we will use this for you to see any overdue Sender Packs that you have not logged as received.
We know that this is showing some old data on people's accounts. Please disregard this section of the app until we let you know that its full functionality is up and running.
