Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do with the books I receive in test items.
I've emailed mailagents a few times to ask but no answer.
I'm finding they take ages to get back to me when I contact them.

If you like the book, you can keep it
If you feel like this book would make somebody happy, you can give it to this person.
If you want to support a local charity, you can donate it
Or, you can simply return it to us by putting it in a bag and writing on it “Freepost SPECTOS” and posting it to us.

Yes postbox slot sizes vary quite a bit - my regular box fortunately has quite a big slot, big enough for the jiffy bags but not big enough for the parcels containing two books.  The nearest box to me has a really small slot, no idea why they vary so much - fortunately I rarely use that one as it has a 9am last collection time.

After first scanning it through the Ziffit app to see if it is worth anything.

Different manufacturers and designs over the years.  My nearest box is an Elizabeth II Type A but a couple of streets away there's a George V Type B which is smaller.   I know of a couple of Victoria boxes which would still be in my postcode area.
I need to think of something new here...
