Yes postbox slot sizes vary quite a bit - my regular box fortunately has quite a big slot, big enough for the jiffy bags but not big enough for the parcels containing two books. The nearest box to me has a really small slot, no idea why they vary so much - fortunately I rarely use that one as it has a 9am last collection time.

A new version of the app (v1.6) has appeared for me in the Play Store.
Seems to include several improvements too to make our lives easier though I was worried for a while as it seemed to have forgotten all the data I had entered this month. Thankfully, it all came back after about 15 minutes!
