Yes I was using Firefox but then realised that was causing me a problem by not letting me go onto page 2, so I swapped to IE where I now have different problems!

Thank you very much for the info. Will try tomorrow morning and then give them a call if not successful.

Having read the entire thread, I have decided to use PPWeXpress and am trying to book them for a home delivery. However I can't get passed the page where you fill in your email address and choose a username - it is reading 'error on page' - anybody have any ideas please?

And is it one price for up to 30kg..it doesn't seem to appear anywhere on the website? Can you phone these people direct and book it or is it online only?

    Thanks.

Have you tried booking through their ebay store? They still appear to be offering a DHL service (1-2 DAY DELIVERY SERVICE %97 NEXT DAY) for £5.95 which is the cheapest that I've found.

  • PPWexpress are still offering that for £5.95 through ebay classifieds but when you go to the site it's £6.95. The ebay ads are obviously old ones that have not been updated.

Just an update on thec problems I was having with PPWeXpress - they say they are aware of an issue on the site affecting some people and will get it sorted.

And so far I am really impressed with service.

Are there any courier agents who deal with a network of independent couriers rather than the big companies? Independents tend to look after your goods better.

The max parcel dimensions they can accept is 2.10mx1.06mx1.05m, max weight is 25kg. They don't cover all mainland area. You need to buy pre paid lables in advance.

We have used fastway for a few months. Some customers complained they are not professional. One time my customer told me that they put a label as advertisement on my parcel - "post a parcel on Fastway couriers from £2.95". Then he complained I charged him too much postage. I told him that rate is for a local service. Actually I charged him £8.99 postage.
They don't have real time tracking system online (not like parcelforce and DHL). I also I lost a few parcles with them. It is really difficult to get compensation from their Franchisee.

The good thing is you can phone driver directly, then you will know what time roughly the driver will come to pick up the parcles. their parcel max dimensions is 2.10mx1.06mx1.05m. I posted a bicycle (flat pack) with them last time, just paid £4.95+VAT.

We don't use Fastway anymore as their price in our area increased to £5.95+VAT. But Most of area are still £4.95 + VAT for national rate.
