In relation to direct debits would it qualify to set a couple up from the £1 DD website? TIA0

I just asked Nationwide via Facebook if I would be eligible for the incentive again if I had already switched a sole into a joint and they confirmed that I would only if I switch a joint into a new joint, where you are allowed 1 sole and 1 joint switch "4. This offer is only valid on the first sole current account and first joint current account you have switched to us since 18 August 2021".
Van_Girl can I ask when you requested your Santander switch where you said you have recently received your incentive. As I'm looking at moving my DD of Santander onto a joint once paid.1 -
If this is useful to anyone, I just had an online chat with a customer service agent at Nationwide. I was worried because I switched to Halifax in May with two direct debits (two credit cards) which only got used in December last year - I haven't used them in the five months I've been with Halifax, and I wondered if they'd count as "active" direct debits. I was told that as long as they are listed on the Halifax account (which they are, even though in the frequency column it says "unknown") then they count toward the switching incentive. Best wishes to you all.3

Thanks for the switch date, what day did you request the switch? My switch completed on the 22/8 but requested on the 12th.0

Last switched September 2021
Think I could squeeze or get away with this?

This present Nationwide switch offer is so tempting that I may not be able to resist switching any longer! High time to open my very first donor current account, I think! Has anyone tried to open a second HSBC current account for this purpose and is this actually possible with HSBC (as long as you don't tell them exactly why you are opening it, obviously) if anybody knows, please?0
