You need to set up a live stream web cam and a mechanical finger to press the button every few minutes. Post a link to the feed, and we can all join you in watching the digits rack up

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.3 -
really what you need to do now is wait and gather your evidence together. we dont know whats what yet and the longer you have the new meter then the longer you can build your case that there was something wrong with the other meter.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.2 -

It allows you to recover and store your data via MQTT. The very clever guy who owns AAISP has just written a blog article about it:Raxiel said:badger09 said:

Absolutely. Setting up my spreadsheet as we speak. I took daily readings from the start of this 'situation' with the occasional note, such as "+15 units overnight - HOW?"ariarnia said:really what you need to do now is wait and gather your evidence together. we dont know whats what yet and the longer you have the new meter then the longer you can build your case that there was something wrong with the other meter.
I'll continue doing this but with a short overview of if I've had the heating on etc.

I also record the minimum overnight temperature outside in my spreadsheet, thanks to a suitable gadget! Then I can show how gas usage is inversely proportional to outside temperature. Who would have guessed?rjmiller said:

That’s great that you already have information that shows spurious overnight readings, which are not replicated with the new meter. If you have dated photos as well it will help you build up your case.rjmiller said:

Yup, a reading and accompanying photo per day over the last month. Sometimes multiple photos a day when the readings are questionable!northernsparky said:

I have absolutely no idea what any of that means, so I clearly don’t have a CAD box & suspect I’ve reached the end of my data search road😊[Deleted User] said:
