DS1 arrived home ok, pleased to be back & we're pleased to have him back. Stayed up to welcome him home.
Woke up when DH got up, torrential rain & wind outside. Did my yoga, then put the washing on the clothes horse after breakfast. Shortened 5 pairs of trousers, 3 before dinner 2 after. Read more if my book whilst eating dinner. Quite enjoying it now, it's set at a German sproutmas market. Still haven't sold DS3's books on a local page, so listed them individually on fleabay, plus an audiobook I listened to & enjoyed this morning.
Had a games night after tea, DS2 didn't join us, but the rest of us had a raucous time. DS3 then came & watched Corrie with me whilst I sewed up the 4 finished headbands.
Grateful for DS getting home safely, good stories, games night laughterUse it up, wear it out

Monday was NSD 6Wfh yesterday with DS around too as it’s school break here. It went surprisingly well. He kept himself occupied for most of the time.We went to a nearby park at lunchtime where DS got to cycle his (yet to be sold) bike. He also played in the play park which he was pretending was the obstacle course from the tv programme Ninja Warrior.Someone made an offer of £25 which I politely said no to. It’s listed for £50. I said I’d meet them at £35 but they aren’t prepared to pay that. Fair enough.OH is on DS watch today and is taking him to the cinema… I’m jealous… and am reluctantly going into the office. On the bright side, I’ll be in the city and will be able to buy some vouchers for sprouts day gifts.Have a good day turtles x

Morning all,
Emotionally extremely tough day yesterday. I really am trying to keep going by controlling what I can and this thread is helping so much with that!
Update for yesterday and plans for today;
Outside Managed another 20 min walk with the pooch and DD2 tagged along which was lovely. She was feeling anxious and it definitely helped distract her.
Inside Wrote a list for OH (he's a house husband) as I felt he needed some focus (!) and he did everything on the list by lunchtime!
Fun Nope
Food/Drink AF again. 11/31 days so far this month. Still need to up the water. Did well with veg yesterday. Need to up fruit and water.
Read nope. In work today, will listen to audio book on the way in and home.
Plan 4 Dec Chased my account, got my a/c no and sort code. Will transfer £1000 to start earning 5%.
Gratitudes Feeling marginally better in time for work; chats and cuddles this morning with DD2.
Yoga/Meditation Managed 10 min of gentle yoga this am, plus 5 min meditation. Aiming to build it all back up again this week.
Spending NSD 4/10. Hoping to stay away from the shops and get to 5/10 today. Also called energy supplier as my account was over £1400 in credit. Getting £850 back and this is going straight off CC. Forgot to mention i paid off the mobile phone paypal bill and a chunk off the credit card at the weekend. Need to update sig.
Have a good Tuesday all

My exciting days continue. Nearly finished deep cleaning the kitchen. I'll finish it this morning but it has highlighted an urgent need for the reorganisation of cupboards in this house. The Boy brought me two bags of washing which he needs done. I don't think he's done any since I went away. Just as well, in this case, that he has far to many clothes. To be fair, he has no access to drying outside and a very limited space inside. Anyway, it will all be done today and ironed tomorrow.
So that's my day. As I said, not very exciting.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
3 falls today.

Sorry to hear about your falls beanie. x
Remaining on NSD 6 as I bought a sprouts day gift while in the city today.
Grateful today for a quick day in the office, for getting important work done, for chats with workmates, for a sunny lunchtime walk, for OH picking me up at train station, and for an easy dinner from our freezer.OH is currently at a football game so I’m off to bed to read my book. 🙂

Oh no beanie, hope you feel better very soon, off to the chaise longue with a long hot water bottle and a hot chocolate for you.
Another NSD today, not sure how many now. OH left the back door open yesterday and new cat escaped. 5 hours later, plastered in mud and scratched badly, DD and I caught her after naughty kitten went into the undergrowth behind our garden and led her out. Needless to say OH is now not on anyones sproutmas list, especially as he refused to help as he was working. No one spoke to him for the rest of the day. Can’t believe how mild the weather is, am still sitting out in the garden with a cup of tea in the late afternoon most days. I shall be quite upset when I have to give that up.
Off to London tomorrow for DS2’s annual checkup. OH has to come as well as it is £84 if 2 of us go or £54 if 3 of us go strangely. I suppose DS2 is 19 so theoretically could go by himself but I dread to think where he might end up if unaccompanied!
Today I am grateful for new cat still liking me after being unceremoniously dragged in by the scruff of her neck (she had already been caught once and escaped by ripping several layers of skin off of DD). a visit to Dad and another lovely day.

Sorry to hear you've fallen so much, beanie x
Not much happening here - tired from work/ radiotherapy/ last week's horrid cold with lingering cough so no outside stuff happening (other than hanging out the laundry!) Still managing without heating - although I suspect that will change when the clocks do! Half term for me isn't until next week but DS3 has all of this week off and next and DS2 breaks up tomorrow. Thankfully DS1 is back from Wales so has been some sort of company for DS3 (13) whilst everyone else is at work/ school.
Plans for half term are housework (tidying and cleaning), listing some things to sell, hopefully making a start on Xmas present shopping, a dentist appt for DS3, testing the heating (oops - haven't done that yet), a flu jab for me and an afternoon of tea and cake with my cousin 😀 No doubt it will go by far too quickly 😞
Grateful for dry weather that means laundry gets mostly dry, a full freezer for when my brain is too tired to think what to eat, nute11a 😋
