@ditty1234 I hope you're feeling okay.
Last night I fell asleep under a blanket on the sofa, OH said he thought I'd wake up and come to bed, I think I did wake up but clearly decided I was perfectly fine where I was!
Cleaned the aquarium before work this morning, my back has been flaring up for the last few days but I cycled to and from the station which did help loosen things up a bit. I'm not moving enough during the day which isn't helping, I need to make effort to do that and go for a lunchtime walk!
Came home and have put two loads of washing on, had a bath plus late dinner. Am hoping my back will calm down soon, I'd like to go to boxing class tomorrow but I'll see how I feel.
Nothing money-saving to report, nothing spent today which is the main thing.10 -

Also made lovely meatballs in tomato sauce for dinner, turkey mince so not too rich and then ran 4.6 M w club group and have race number for muddy x country this weekend. Urk. And 2 more much needed nsd days.

Satisfactory progress being made.
Grateful, just because (I could sit and simmer and be angry but it won't help with anything so will just keep plodding). Found some library books that have been missing for a while, I've just kept renewing them.9 -

Today I am grateful for dc sleeping late which I reckon averted a meltdown, for DH having extra work, for recorded women's world cup rugby to watch, for finishing a couple of Father Cmases, for still getting a few rasps on the canes, for having a super lazy day and making the decision to just enjoy it and not feel guilty.Ditty, could you do invigilator work? Pay is pants, and the days are irregular, but you already have more than enough experience to do a fab job.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9

Hugs @ditty1234, I sympathise with your situation. I too work with tricky students, & as if that isn't enough, our head has no authority over any of them. She'll often come & look while things are kicking off, but leaves us to deal with it! So grateful for 2 of my colleagues, who do help & we are a great support to each other. Head is good for listening when everything with work & health tests, my children, etc all gets too much, so wouldn't completely strike her off...
Another NSD, think I'm on 5 now 😊
Did yoga, then someone came to collect items if advertised for sale (another customer at teatime, & one for clothing repair collection in the afternoon). Walked to the village to post some letters, then after dinner I shortened 3 pairs of trousers & put a new zip in another pair. Spent 2.5 hrs this evening drying the big building bricks, still got just under half still to do 🤯 next time I won't bother washing them!!!
Had washing on the line, washed another load, which we'd brought in from the garage yesterday & too small for DS3. Some items I could sell in it though.
Grateful for painted toenails, a dry day, a sewing phone enquiry from someone I used to know years agoUse it up, wear it out

Morning Turtles,I am abandoning you until the weekend for the wilds of......... 'OL9 '. The Glamour! (When you know, you know
)
Off to make strangers happy after my fab day of drilling (some of it is a mess but it works) and screwering yesterday. 3 storage cubes on bedroom walls, 2 curtain rods up on stairs, one shelf up in another bedroom, and one picture rehung.More recycling heading out of the house when I return, with a swish of my cape and a twirl of my moustache (madam!)Came down to pack my bag with kettle-food, and one of my FFFarm bought pot rices (2 for £1) have disappeared in the night. They know they are for my work lunches....I am unimpressed. 2 cereal boxes magically emptied overnight as well, so emergency muffins and crumpets deployed from the freezer (ha! take that you swines!) or they can make porridge, I no longer care.Anyway, I will read along on my phone. Please remember we have 10 days left in our budgets for this month (if you get paid on the last working day of the month) so have a look, have a rejig, work out what you have left, divide by 10 for your daily allowance, and work out how little of it you can get away with spending - then add £5 for emergencies - there is always an emergency!It does not matter if you have a daily allowance of £2 or £20, try not to go over, it does not matter if your systems works daily, or weekly, or 10 daily, if it works for you, stick with it.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@f0xh0les - sometimes the only thing to do to protect your stash of goodies is hide it!
I've hidden mine in my bedroom, the garage, even the car! It's petty but stops you starting the day fuming!

We were woken at 6.30 by DH's phone ringing. They've found a match for his kidney!! He has gone in the ambulance & his plane is due to leave for Edinburgh any minute now. I'm home with the family. Keeping everything crossed that it all goes ahead (the patient it's coming from is still living, but not for much longer). Will hopefully hear from DH later to see if it's going ahead or if he'll be flying home again
