Good morning just wanted to state that while I am fully behind postal workers and everybody who goes on strike in this difficult time - why this week when I am waiting for my new sim card, so I can get my normal mobile number back. I pretty much can't set anything up on my new phone without verification and I am worried about getting locked out of work and bank accounts in general as all is verified through my phone.
Verified or vilified. 3-5 days from Friday and 2 days of postal strike - I guess next week if I am lucky! Note to self - don't loose phone, not a good idea.
On a good note I woke up this morning well slept and feeling a bit more positive than lately, hope it will feed through and seep into the day.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Didn't spend any money yesterday so I'm now on NSD no 3. Wasn't expecting that really.
I support the strikers as well, Ditty, but I've just discovered that the train strike will cause me a rather big problem. Still, at least I can make a plan B or plan C unlike you needing your sim card.
Raining heavily here so I think that's probably my walk scuppered for today. Still, the Boy is arriving later so I can find plenty to do.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
Thank you for all your good wishes, the first lot of dye has been injected, now waiting for the scan this afternoon. Been awake since 4.10am, so will be ready for a nap soon!
Yesterday was busy, finished packing, got summer clothes put back in the shed & taught my sewing class at night. Work had gone well too.
Grateful for kind people giving me lifts from one end of town to my mum's last night, & another friend taking me to the airport this morning at stupid o'clock, a smooth flight, chatty patients, managing to find my way round the hospital & a VERY comfy bed in my accommodation 😴
All the best to those who've had or due to have hospital appointmentsUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hope all is well thrifty! I just paid to have two trouser zips mended and thought of you
I did morning pages today, went for a walk at lunch as had a headache and needed fresh air. The gym at work is in the basement and sometimes it just doesn’t appeal.
not an NSD, stocked up on some cheap bits from a p0und w0rld type (whatever it’s called these days) establishment. Was quite pleased with the purchases as all was stuff I don’t usually find, but was certainly not a planned spend.
grateful for sun, for sleeping well for once and for bf’s dhal for lunch.Student loan £5655

Shrewbie - I was thinking about you and your zips the other day and wondered if you'd got them sorted!

@Thrifty_Taylor hope all goes well.
Bit of a mad day at work today, just non-stop, I didn't even get a break for lunch. I've chosen to do compressed hours in my new job and have every other Monday off, luckily I'm working so much that it's easy to do the extra 50 minutes or so I need to accrue before taking my day off! However I do need to streamline things a bit more and make the job work for me.
No spends though which is the main thing! Easy dinner tonight of pasta, and have defrosted lunch and dinner ready for tomorrow already.9 -
Yay! I am terrified of doing all that nonsense through my phone, because I know me (I am hopeless!!), so verification mostly comes via email ... that I check on my phone
