I've heard nothing yet (I'm with OVO). I'm on the list of postcodes without gas so hopeful we should get it automatically and not need to apply.

I just emailed hi@eonnext to request a refund. Added a brief explanation that my account was in credit and my usage doesn't vary, so I have no need of a large credit balance. Requested the £200 to be returned.
Already had an email back - initially stating they'd need to bill my account up to do date to check that the credit balance is correct. They did this from the smart meter and have processed the refund.
They did say it can take up to two weeks to land in my bank account though!! I'll update when it comes in£12k in 26 #14 £5776.75/£12k 25 #14 £19,041.66/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k1 -

So I had to register a password with Octopus. My Bulb account had been closed and passed to them
After a bit of a fiddle I managed to get on to my new account to find £200 had been deposited there on Valentines Day with no fanfare.
The government must love me.
I also had a go at their 'spin the wheel' but no prize this month!0 -
I've received the £200 payment today, directly into my current account from OVO energy.Debt free and Keeping on Track1
