Quotes this afternoon for 1000ltrs ex vat:
    Boiler Juice 93.74
    Local oil club 80.95
    Local Certas owned depot 76.03.

Naturally I took the Certas one.... made even sweeter by an additional £42 discount voucher they sent me a couple of months ago with end of year use by date. 🙂👌

Now watch the price plummet 😂

    Interestingly my quotes were:
    Certas £1.20
    BoilerJuice £0.78

my boilerjuice order will be fulfilled by Certas (the closest geographically) lolz

I thought the high certas price was because I'd been sent the voucher.

It will be paid in January, after verification of legibility, so expect it in February or March.

Seeing as the scheme hasn't been finalised yet, that would seem unlikely.

Its arguable that the scheme is needed at all given current prices are within the typical range.

Most people fill up multiple times a year but it doesnt matter as the payment method isnt linked to when or how often you buy.

No. They haven't. Just a bit of drip feeding. Your link clearly states:

"As there is no central register of people who do not use mains gas for their heating, BEIS said it was "working at pace with stakeholders to identify the best method of identifying eligible customers and making payments to them in a way which is as easy as possible".

The Vast majority of eligible households in GB will receive payment automatically via their electricity supplier with no need to take any action, this payment will be made as soon as possible in the new year.

So to be clear, there is no proposed route for householders who have a gas contract but oil heating to claim?  When our village was connected to gas residents were offered a reduced connection charge and we only use gas for a hob.

Presumably people that have  gas central heating but a different electricity supplier will get it?
