Did anyone else have problems with the online form setting up an ISA a/c with Santander? I did, & ended up wasting about an hour of my life last evening, then being timed out near the last, unjumpable, hurdle! I rung Santander at 8am today with the online form partially filled in.Maybe people who fill in such forms often are used to their 'quirks', but I am not.In summary:1 - Residential address has to have a street name (which I don't!) - I added in an irrelevant hamlet name to get past this problem.2 - Occupation box - options ONLY appear if the box recognises the start of what one puts in...& it's not clear that there IS a drop down until, by chance, one hits an acceptable option! I resorted to a new occupation to fit in with the available options!3 - 'How much will you open your new ISA with' question options near the end are simply misleading - it would not accept a monetary value! Apparently I needed to click: 'other' which was definitely not the answer to the actual question asked!!!I had fudged nos.1&2, but had to phone Santander to get past no. 3.What a waste of my & their time....
