Good evening 😁
Thank you for the thread - I am in. I am already ahead for Tuesday! 😇 I had the LR, stairs & landing carpet cleaned today. The landing is still completely clear, and I am sort of hoping it stays that way! The carpets are still a little damp, so I will need to replace the rug, coffee table & cat tree before I start work in the morning.
I also cleaned the upstairs toilet, basin & bath & did some washing. The fridge has been cleared of dodgy stuff, and the contents of the food bin has been emptied into lottie the hottie. Flowers (from our anniversary last week) have been tidied & water freshened.
I *almost* have a new shed! It still needs half a roof & some felting! However, the bikes are in it so that is something. It has only been 10 weeks after all! 🤦♀️
Round Well done on using your braves 😁
Fayolle & YL I'm glad you had good breaks
Hugs, sticks & spoons (and some extra braves!!) to those that need them 😊
Tomorrow I have work, so I need to make sure my alarm is set!
Night night everyone 😴

I must be really Ill…I am going to be getting visitors who are travelling from Dahn sahf (possibly GI land…not sure) and putting up in a hotel…next week
trouble is I technically don’t have time…Monday I’m travelling back from the weekend away, Friday having chemo so I’m going to ask for some time off.
anyway I cooked tonight cottage pie…one for now and one for the freezer, and apple crumble. I’ve WUALTD because I used the Nimja. I’ve run out of washing up liquid and, I’m knackered because I slept badly.
but I have a new talent and have opened a locked safe which has no key and had flat batteries. Nothing exciting in it though. It now has batteries and a new 8 digit code.
I’m probably too old to go in for a life of crime!
Ps I feel perfectly fine

Yesterday I managed to hoover and dust all through downstairs, then sat down in the evening to chill in front of the TV and realised that I hadn't dusted the shelves on the TV stand - and it showed! (Didn't have the energy to get up and do it there and then, though, so added to today's list.)
The first two signatures have landed on the documents I've been working on, to be joined today by two more, and then the fun of posting papers around the country and back again begins (problems of having a far-flung family). I am about to clear the printouts of all the relevant instructions off my desk and the spare bed, and will pass them on to DH in the hope that it will kickstart him into taking similar action. [Fer-ling!]
I am helping to organise a Pudding Night tomorrow in aid of our air ambulance, so need to go shopping this morning and then start making my contributions this afternoon. I'm taking a couple of vegan recipes so I must remember to cook some samples for DDiL1 in small tins/dishes. Usually she only gets Twinks when I give DS1 a coffee cake - she does like them, but I think she deserves more variety.
Lots more phonecalls to make today before I give DH a lift to SW (but then I'll keep driving to the big MrAl and pick him up on my way home).
The top of the c-o-d is still clear
Hope everyone has a good day xxx8 -

Morning all
A bright beautiful and chilly morning here, very autumnal just how I like it. Animals fed, children getting ready and I’m sitting outside on my camping chair enjoying a cuppa.I gifted an item to someone in the village yesterday; she is collecting this morning and bringing me allotment produce in return, yum!
There is laundry to hang out, the usual chores to be done but I will also spend an hour reading my book outside later on.
Iona - well done, it’s a long winded process but remember you’ve done the tricky froggy 🐸 bit, this is the easy part.
Love to all, have fab days xx9 -
Fingers crossed please ladies, final push today, 18500 steps to do, then it is done, 1,000,000 done, approx 9 to 10 miles to do, so basic flying only, then I am off out the day. (sunny but on the cool side so IMO ideal.)Taking my camera today as it is very high tides in the area, the sort where you don't park your car on the flood plains, so I will see how many cars are in the wrong places, normally it is tourists who don't think the warning signs / barriers apply to them.Back much later, to (hopefully) celebrate.Take care all~~ Valli this means you as well, DON'T go over doing it.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good morning,
Up, dressed, hair washed, just having the first cuppa then will make a start.
We have cloud and general dullness here, but the bedding is still getting washed and will go outside, probably with one beady eye on the window in case of rain.
Thanks for the berries, Kaz, in the WAC. Although I did have to help myself to some of Piggers’ ice cream too…
Round - well done on using so many braves. I would send you some, but I need them these days for the easiest of things 🙁. YL, I’m with you on the anxiety that would give me. Have a hug x
Valli - ever thought of registering on Checkatr@de?!
Iona - yum! Unfortunately, I have Kaz watching out for my sensible eating 🤣. DD makes a first class vegan carrot cake - substitutes oil for butter, and vegan cream cheese. Good Food recipe I think, from memory, if that is any use.
Today’s flying plan vaguely includes bathroom cleaning, LR, vacuuming upstairs after I have dried my hair, as it makes such a mess. Maybe HHI. Anything else will be a bonus. I am already stressing about going back to work tomorrow.
Have a lovely day, everyone. Especially those back at the coal face x8
