Hope you had fun Valli.
Its so cold here tonight. I’ve just done the final animal check and the thermometer reads 3 degrees Celsius. Dog curled up by the fire, children asleep, I won’t be far behind them with my book.8 -
I'm the only one on the house, apart from DD1 who is asleep from 12 hour nights. DW nearly done it's first run, all surfaces cleaned.
This week we've also moved several tons of pieces of wall, so heavy they can only be lifted with the tractor, but needed digging out by hand. Fixed the pigs little house, they had demolished one side. And removed all the temporary roofing sheets from the barn. It's being fixed next week, after storm Eunice last year.
See you all in the new thread, hugs, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.10 -
Oh what a night, 3am cat 2 who was asleep on the bed since about 10.30pm, chucks up, so up I get get duvet off bed, remove cat 1 who is still now inside it, puts duvet in WM, put soap power in draw, miss draw with about 40% of it, now it is all over floor, (should have put glasses on) clean up floor, WM gets going.Try to find cat 2 to check he is ok, but he has vanished, puts on more light to check he's not thrown up else where, puts clean duvet on, removes cat 1 who thinks it is a good game to roll about inside while I am trying to do it up,
finally gets back into bed and sleeps until 8.30am.
Gets up, feed cats I can find, goes next door, to be met by their 2 cats, with looks on their faces of 'you are late, we are starving' so feed those two, check round, no mice.Cat 2 reappeared about 11amKitchen doneBeen walking, but there are very heavy rain clouds about.Tried out new coat, it is great, but I cannot work out how to do the hood up, the press poppers things at the base of the hood are all the same, ie the ones they pop on to are missing. I must be missing a trick, so on Tuesday I'll go back to the shop and ask them to show me.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
