Evening all,
Just popping in quickly before I head to the land of nod.Round - how are you feeling now lovely? X
Lots and lots done today:
- tip run with more junk from the field
- WUDUPA x972
- everybody fed and alive
- logs unloaded and stacked away neatly 😍
- eggs swapped for locally grown veg
- admin decluttered
- local job applied for 😳😳😬😬Gosh it doesn’t look much but I haven’t stopped!Sleep well all xx9 -
The pudding night raised £170 for the air ambulance and everyone had a great time and are !ots of yummy puddings
I am Now shattered, and sadly Rosie didn't get a walk today because DH's "quick" check up lasted an hour and a half.
Off to bed now for some well earned rest. G'night all xx8 -
HB thanks for the tips. I too think she is frustrated about not going out. I am hoping she will be better in a few months. I think I will phone the vets & get her booked in! The rescues are inundated with unwanted kitties, and I certainly don't want to add to their problems!! She has toys, and we have a big cat tree, which she loves climbing. The problem is not the older (only just 2, so not old) cat bothering her - it is the other way round! 🤣 The children love playing with her too 😊 Maybe I should try some catnip toys 🤔
kaz Well done with all the walking! Fantastic achievement 👏
Round I am glad you are feeling a bit better
mademoiselle Welcome back, and I am glad the move went well.
Flying...well, ...ummmm....
I finished clearing up the pile of branches that DH left in the garden. LR still looks tidy 😁
Night night all x8 -
Kitchen donePheasants in the garden after the apples, so autumn is on its way!
a load more pheasants have just flown by, I wonder if a pheasant release has taken place. (mutters off to find out when the shooting season starts)
General sorting of the day doneNew socks have arrived to replace my worn out ones!!A major toad is in progess of being munched, it has been hanging around for 16 odd years, it related to my mother personal items, not felt like sorting them out, so brave it is................now have a load of silver / gold stuff to clean, then to sort out what I finally do with them, my sister and SIL don't want them, there is no direct blood female line to leave it all to, so I am thinking along the lines of auction / local suitable shop to sell them to.I'm cleaning silver. It is also raining, but forcast is clear. Also need to buy a carbon monoxide alarm, for rental property to meet some new law coming out, should have bought one years ago.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning everyone, a cloudy but dry day here so WM is on.
HHI done, well I ironed the 2 shirts from yesterday, but it does mean everything is up to date. DW sorted and kitchen tidy. Yesterday afternoon I did another couple of change of address and admin bits. Bathrooms and our bedroom all cleaned. Twin room will get done today as in laws arrive tomorrow morning.
Now need to meal and activity plan for the weekend and then go to the supermarket.
Hugs to all xx

Kaz.. I'd get it valued before deciding anything. You could have it made into other jewellry such as a chain or st christopher for male bloodline relatives. The vintage rings are so lovely and quite popular at the moment.
Meeting had with SENCO.. school decided upon for Dot I think.. this wold mean I could still pick her up and Pixie would get a place at the school she wants on siblings and uniform would be easier (polo shirt not shirt/tie) and we could get her there in a morning too.. it may mean OH drops me and her there and takes the younger 2 and comes back for me but we can work this out.
I must ring SALT. They still haven't returned my call from 10am on Monday!laundry, DW and decisions on tomorrows bills..I MUST tidy the front room and kitchen.. we are having grandbeasties over after school so need some floor space!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Thanks Pigpen, I am booked for a valuation with a well respected auction house, next week, just sold some of the lesser costume type bits in the local town for £90, did bring back on of the items as I felt they were worth more than what was being offer, I checked on eby before I went. Also going to take some of the car boot bits as a 'job lot' to the auction house for a general type sale they run, it is time for them to go as they have been in and out of my car for goodness knows how long. I will need to check also about their fees, listing fees, selling fees etc as I have no idea.Log delivery booked, so money for this will be covered by eby and auction sale (fingers crossed)Bulbs planted on my mother's grave.Listy is getting smaller........
now going to list more smaller bits on eby

Hello all.
Work is done for today, not sure if I'll be needed tomorrow. Lovely walk with Poppet.
Sitting down for a while now before DGD2 comes to stay for the night.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Hi ladies
Busy busy day as usual, I have just sat down for the first time since rising at 6.10am!
Lidl shop done, plus lots of other errands run. Laundry brought in and folded up, putting away can wait until morning. Easy pasta supper cooked, and packed lunches made for tomorrow. Also pumped the tyres up on DDs bike. It’s time for us all to get into comfy clothes / PJs and settle down. Tomorrows list (for accountability!):
- source and purchase solar power source for pigs electric fencing
- source a roof ladder to borrow
- make a corned beef hash for dinner
- update monthly expenditure list (hand written, no fancy spreadsheet here!)
This is in addition to the usual items on the list.Big hugs to all xx9 -
Hi all
Fayolle I have some quite enjoyable stuff to do at the minute and I am not stupidly busy, but my heart isnt in it. Worked from home today and had to put my personal phone out of sight to avoid temptation.
LR hoovered and dusted, lots of doggie blankets and throws washed and hung out. Tea from the mealplan so thats good.
Need to tick some things off the to do list tomorrow including ordering some heating oil.9
