Sorry to hear you've all been ill, I hope whatever it was has gone now.

Nothing to report this week have spent next to nothing, being ill is at least low cost, ha. Had the whole week out of the office. I have worked but sat in my garden, so not all bad tbf.

@Cherryfudge unfortunately it completely wiped us out, it was some kind of flu bug. Wife and son are fine now. I'm still not well probably about 70% better though tbf so all being well this coming week it will be gone.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.

Been nice weather for being out in the garden. We have enjoyed a warm, sunny weekend in the garden.

Hopefully another one next weekend. Although that might be too much to ask for!

I'm glad the rest of the family are okay now, but it's obviously hit you hard. You'll be back though. :) It sounds like one of those things where you just have to play by its rules till your natural defences build up again - so more time in the sunshine, eat healthily, light exercise, possibly? Strategic rest for longer term gain?

Nothing much to report. I’m still not 100%, been back to work and back to the gym since last week but its been a struggle. I was really low on energy towards the end of last week, the low mood / thoughts returned with it. Not pleasant when things have been a lot better recently. Thursday through to Sunday I gave my phone and wallet to my wife to keep safe - I have learned to put my family first and just let my wife look after me. Spent a little this weekend - she managed to get me to walk 12.5k steps both days for lunch ha.

Son has his day in the senior school this week idk he's got another year in the junior school and is staying at the same school until he's 18 but it just seems unreal. Idk I missed out on so much when he was younger I suppose I find him growing up so quickly very hard to come to terms with.

Will either do the finances early or after we get back from our long weekend away at the end of this week, I do at least know weeks such as the last few will and do pass.

Thank you @RelievedSheff we are looking forward to it. Have a good one.

Don't know if some of my thoughts are related to coming up to two years as well as this lingering illness.
