I second that - but fortunately have never come across it.

I am exhauseted but I have my new duvet cover and got to go around another JL sale. Got my xmas wrap for grown ups for next year half price - did not see a kids one I liked.

OH has put the desk up and is working on the drawers. Having a couple then I need to start tidying somewhere I just have no idea where!

It's advertised on TV. Kid sits in a bath of goo and has loads of fun. Only in reality it's £5 for one 5-6cm deep bath of the stuff and it makes a right bloody mess! I sent a cheeky email and guess what? It was returned! The email address on the website is wrong.

It's horrid. Thankfully it has came off in the TD and I now know to add loads of salt to the WM when washing towels covered in it.

One pack left in blue, and after that, NEVER AGAIN.

KIds in bed before I went mental. Few WM and TD loads done and put away or folded. Living room tidy, may mop the floor later as it will make it look better, plus I spilled coffee under the tree earlier. Kitchen is done, supper dishes to be done and thats it.

I'm going to surf for a bit or play my DS till kids sleeping then going for a long bath to de-stress.

Tia - that sounds foul! Yuck! Gald to hear your DS is a bit better though
    Pigpen - happy belated birthday!!!!
Embb - well done on keeping the house nice!

Evening all! Glad to read most of us had a nice christmas! Sounds like Santa has been very good to everyone! We've had a lovely time, bit hetic christmas morning trying to open a mammoth pile of DS's pressies with him while various cameras we've shoved at him, trying to make breakfast butties, keep everyone smiling. A few tears from me yesterday as the presents that took months to put together we're discarded and not looked through and then !!!!!y comments from MIL - c*w. Never again, they'll all get some carp from M&S and lump it. DS and other LO's, however, were stars and loved all their gifts. DS was jumping up and down and pointing at his new trike and it was really lovely AND he's already a 'flyboy' - MIL brought him a hoover which has took everywhere with him and uses it all the time (wish it picked up LOL)

Not done a lot today, WM been on, nipped round Mr T's, pub lunch and just chilling out at 3 of us. Also been to Aldi to get DH kitted out with ski clothes (very MSE!), just needs gloves and new mask and then sorted DH just took dogs for final walk, then its bread, pate and nibble tea in front of TV for us. DH is golfing tomorrow so going to brave the shops for a look around the sales.

Have a lovely night folks, catch you all tomorrow xx

    Morning All

New toys are still strewn around the LR - really must get them sorted and put away today!
I've got loads of washing and ironing to do so must do some of that today.

So there are my jobs for today!!

Went to another party last night at my parents' house but that's it now until New Year's Day and then it's DD's birthday on the 2nd and she's having a party on the 3rd.

    Hope everyone's okay

    Morning

Tracy I hate it when gifts get discarded especially when you've put lots of time and effort into them, I don't blame you for just buying tat next time I would too x
Tia I refused to buy the Gelli Baff stuff purely because of the way it's spelt ggggrrrrr :D

Up early this morning cause I pulled my neck in bed which woke me up, I heard the thing go - ouch! must be all the heavy lifting I've been doing lol Kitchen needs S&Sing as I didn't clear up after tea  and a couple pf loads of washing to do today too, but that's pretty much it, still sorting littleys room but doing a little bit everytime I go upstairs, it's tidy don't get me wrong but every cupboard/draw/wardrobe is full to the brim I'm trying to wean them down a bit.

Might pop into town today to buy nephews birthday card & pressie for new years eve, I'll see how I feel later.

    Laters x

I took photos of the 'before' flat but it's toooo embarassing to share :o:o:o . Where does one start when there is the WHOLE flat to do??!!

Using 'RememberTheMilk' to try and get organised, list for today before I leave house at 1130:

    * Shower, wash hair etc. Oops, past 12.... DONE
    * Empty wardrobe and sort into recycling / maybe keep / keep piles DONE 8 carrier bags of stuff for recycling!!!
    * Empty 3 bedroom chest of drawers, air and and sort contents into recycling / maybe keep (all my stuff has been in storage so smells musty & needs washing:eek: ) / keep piles DONE
    * Empy car of Christmas stuff
    * Fill up car with load for recycling / tip / charity shop
    * Put some items in loft
    * WM of musty stuff DONE
    * Iron bed linen (my bed arrived a month ago and it still isn't made!! ) DONE using new ironing board
    * Work emails

To try and get organised I have bought a clothes rail to help me hang and sort stuff out with.

I would have started earlier...but just discovered BBC iPlayer and been catching up on EastEnders... :o
