About to get dressed and take flowers to DH, bet there are loads of Christmas trees and wreaths up there
Then on to Nanan's for lunch and more pressies, have a good one everybody. :wave:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Half past f**king five!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HALF PAST F**KING FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
I ASK YOU!!!!!!!
How on earth do you get them to stay in bed until almost 9am when mine get up at disgusting o'clock??????
I have 4 playing on their DS's.. one eating everything in sight.. she has bit of a 'sugar issue' so will eat it all until it is gone or I physically take it off her. three on PC games & one mooching about fiddling in things singing at the top of her voice.. and I am freezing, starving and need my bed.. I dont feel festive.. I just want to sleep.. and I have to take my mothers present round shortly!!
Wm is on.. DS1's thumb is taped and strapped up after he chopped a chunk out of it working for my BIL yesterday. Need to load the DW in a minute and I've filled both wheelie bins.. thankfully they are coming on Thursday!
Hubby seem to like his pressies and I got the sewing machine bag I wanted and a mirror ball.... and a huge external hard drive for the childrens film back ups!
Hubby just making christmas dinner.. sausage sarnies!!!!!!!! YUM!
Hope everyone is enjoying their day!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Feel for you pigpen, hope you manage a snooze later
Dusty, had me giggling with your post about your DS
For a change my 2 slept until 7am, and what was the first thing DS1 did, threw up! I just turned to DP, said 'Oh well Happy Christmas anyway' and we both ended up laughing. I am so pleased we declined the dinner out offer as I can't see him eating much & him throwing up at the table would be my worst nightmare.
Santa has been and left a right mess, they should teach that one how to fly flylady style. DP let the kids wait an hour before he brought the Wii through we forgot about, the kids bless them acted so grateful saying 'get one when the shops have them with our Christmas money'. Oh I got so far a lovely cardigan, vouchers, some money, a doughtnut maker(so I'll have to regift or send back the one I ordered from Wilkinsons
) a gold watch and matching bracelet with diamonds in off DP which is lovely but I nearly lost it in the turkey, forgot I had it on when I went to empty the gibblies out, eek!
Turkey is in, under skin with butter as recommended then wrapped like a parcel in bacon, I took everyone with me into the kitchen this morning when I started which helped loads, I managed to eventually get the legs off, have boned those, filled with pork and chesnut sausage meat, rolled them and they are nearly done, stuffing balls just finished and they smell fantastic!!! What's next, carrots, sprouts and potatoes to prepare, then DS1 has requested yorkshire puddings so will have to do those.
Right that's us so far, I best go back to cooking/preparing/playing referee
Hope you are all having a lovely day.One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Lunch eaten - and now off for a snooze as my cold is still grotty and I'm in danger of falling over.
Nice day so far - just wish I felt nicer!
Sad to say, whilst boys were out with new toys and veg cooking I surfed the net and did some shopping! Have now got at least one birthday pressie and one xmas pressie for next year.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Happy Christmas everyone!
To all who are feeling poorly, I can empathise - woke up this morning with a sore throat, and blocked nose, so feeling sorry for myself. Have also coughed til I was nearly sick.At least Christmas won't be ruined though, cos OH and I went round to my parents' yesterday to do our celebrating, and it's just the two of us today. Off to his Mum's tomorrow. Managed to get a takeaway-al-a-dad last night too, so now have some home-made spiced red cabbage, bread sauce and a christmas pudding for us to have with the bits I've already got in. It just all needs microwaving. :j
I rushed around in a mad cleaning frenzy this morning cos my Mum was coming over to pick up some instant custard as her powder is a bit old and wouldn't thicken last night, and have done 3 loads of washing today. Flat is looking much better for it.
Well best wishes to everyone, and hugs from a distance!

My mother loved her laptop..
.. another happy customer! Because she would know what it was I wrapped it and put it in a HUUUUGE box with 3 helium balloons so when she opened the box the balloon popped out... and floated up to the ceiling when she lifted the present out.. and scared the dog so he wee'd himself ROFL!!!!!
Anyway.. I'm back home now.. the children have just devoured a pack of 24 crisps between 6 of them.. it is only christmas once a year so the annual pigout is VITAL!
Just moving 109 Gb of backed up films to the external HD so my pc may actually run a bit more smoothly!
I a so tired I feel sick..
Did I mention DS1 lost his phone last night.. the one he got for his birthday in September and cost me £135??????? I blocked the SIM but the phone was not linked to the account so he can't block that.. so he has a PAYG with £10 credit and my old nokia n70... I am REALLY cross with him!! so at 7am this morning I was on the phone cancelling his sim and now I need to order a new one.. should do it now actually..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon flyladies. Just about to start tea. Dinner was fine - all eaten. Spent the afternoon sitting with my Nan - it was like an episode of the royal family - she drives the rest of the family mad but I love her to bits.
DS1 and DH playing darts, DS2 on the playstation (loved his dirtboard and hubbie took him down the lakes in the rain to use it - great videos).
DS3 drawing as usual and watching cbeebies - mum and sister racing grannies round a track.
Hope all is well.
Tia - hope all is ok with you and the little oneThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I still have 3 on DS's.. one has a cat on her lap.. I don't think she knows he is there she is so engrossed.. just going to find something with vitamins in to feed the chimps before bed.. I have 2 wearing new PJ's already.. beans and toast anyone??? ... oh.. we have no bread... beans anyone??? lol.. with fried eggs and.... bacon.. and mushrooms and sausages.... cholesterol for dinner... YAY!!!!!!

We had our roast dinner about 12 then Christmas pudding about 5 o'clock. Will have supper later! When there is loads of food we don't want much, the rest of the year we "could really fancy something nice"!0
