Evening all! Not done too much today, been into town this morning then walked dogs and thats been about it. Managed to hoover through and wiped kitchen floor, did a bit of ironing too.
Supposed to be going over to some neighbours for 'drinks' later but really can't be bothered and would rather just go out with DH since we have babysitters but feel we should go. But don't want to. But should. Trying to make DH decide what to do.
The christmas decs are really getting on my nevres now, can't wait to take them down and have a good clean. Cards have already come down. Just want this year to finish and start a new year, love it as you feel like a new beginning.

Evening all.
Been to JL and returned all unwanted items. Got a sheet in the right size this time and another jumper to try.
Managed to get a pair of troussers half price in debenhams for DS3 - he has grown out of nearly all of his. Also got a bargin £2 logic puzzle (from £10) for DS1 to replace a present he had a duplicate of which I will now use as a party gift.
Did food shop for tomorrow and got lots of great bargins as I was in there so late they were doing the final down to 20p knock downs - never got those before. Things like organic sliced cooked turkey from £3.19 to 20p
Made a delicious cottage pie for tea with reduced mince and everybody ate it all.
No flying except laundry today.
Hope to empty compost heap tomorrow and just S&S but back to flying on Monday when OH goes back to work.
A&Wsmum hope you have/had a fab time at the partyThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening
Not much done here today.
Managed to walk doogie down to Mr T to get a refund on some Xmas paper - lovely paper but totally covered in glitter so sellotape wont stick which I discovered at 6pm on xmas eve !!!
Have also sorted the washing - I think I have 11 loads to do and thats without the bed linen so will be busy over the next couple of days. Go back to work on Wed and OH at work Mon/Tues on days so should be able to get lots done especially if kids behave themselves.
Am going to try and get OH on the grocery challenge with me this month as we have been spendin between 275 and £300 per month for 4 of us which is way too much. He's the worst culprit as always goes in when he collects DD from school and they have the reduced shelf filled up - excellent in the long run but the freezers full.
Hope you all have a relaxing evening and will see you all tomorrow.
PS CONGRATULATIONS TO MARTINMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
