Evening all....
Well today i achieved 1 thing off my list.I deep cleaned the bathroom. But while balancing on the toilet seat i saw the weather was lovely. So i headed outside and did the garden and sorted the shed. It looks much better now. Then came inside and sorted out some wood to burn. Then a friend came round for a late lunch (2.30pm) and has just left (10.30pm!) so we sorted out what we need for New Years and i made a collage of my graduation photos, to find out my printer isnt working .
So i have written a to do list and a to get list and i am going to try and get as much done. But first thing tomorrow my decs are coming down and the lounge is getting a proper dust. Then shopping, Argos to get some bits and then a good clean of this place.
Right time for bed i feel, see you tomorrow.

Just read the story of the proposal, awww, how lovely.
Right, mainly been catching up on laundry, done 6 loads and put 4 away, looks a little like a laundrette in here but determined to use the TD as little as possible. Nearly fell off DS2s bed when I was remaking it, someone remind me next time I am looking for beds that if they can't do it themselves by then to buy them a lower bed!!!!
More laundry tomorrow, being ill is not good for laundry. Garden needs a clean up as I didn't venture out there today to deal with the dog stuff because I didn't get dressed
Right bed time, will try better tomorrow....oh yes and new list starts tomorrow night if anyone has any extra ideas....so I'm not too worried about trying to catch up too much. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning everyone.
Had to get up as I couldn't sleep because my nose is soooo bunged up. Will do some flying as soon as it's first light (I can't do housework in the dark!).
Although I've made cakes etc. for tea, I'm thinking of doing a pudding for dinner tonight (we don't normally do puddings in this house, but as we've guests....). I'm trying to work on what I have in the house (don't feel fit enough to go out far)
Do you think an apple and fresh cranberry crumble would work? Has anyone tried it? Or does anyone have any suggestions for a pudding involving fresh cranberries?
To do this morning:- Clean utility area floor
- Clean bathroom
- Clean kitchen floor
- Hoover living room
- Sweep hall floors
- Prepare veg for dinner tonight
- Consider making a pudding for this evening with 'in house' ingredients

Morning
I'm amazed at how much you all do when you're poorly, I do naff all! Please try and get a little rest if you can, you need to when you're ill *looks at lil_me & soappie* xx
Had the house pretty much to myself from 12pm onwards yesterday and I was bored out of my head lol I've decided I don't like being alone, OH didn't come round and there was naff all on the tele I could have cleaned but I didn't feel like it. Got a few bits to be getting on with today but nothing major, just waiting for the new week to start with a new list and get cracking with the flying again. I like my routines lol
Laters :hello:
edit: list
S&S kitchen
sweep through
make my bed
sort tea
weeks menu plan
weeks shopping list0 -
Well that's the tea sorted, got some veg to use up so having that with steak and onion gravy, mash and yorks -yum! just hope the beef defrosts in time lol I've put it next to the radiator in the living room where it's warm, just need to prep all the veg now.
AnW'smum was thinking about you all at the party last night, hope you all had a good time x
Got to nip to Asda when it opens as I've run out of bacci  will see what they've got in the reduced section whilst I'm there too, or anything I can squirrel away for next years pressies I'm after smelly sets cause I hate paying full price for them and everybody always gets one lol.0 -
embb try Boots, they are usually selling off what was on 3 for 2 half price by now. *gulps at thought of paying for 'full price' bacci*I am sprawled on the sofa, tissues everywhere, just mooching on the internet, happy? I won't be like this for long however, I get twitchy and need to do something, but will keep having rests in between. DS2 wet the bed, again, thankfully the waterproof sheet I got from the pharmacy seems to have saved the mattress, but still more laundry to do with his sheets. He's saturating his PJ pants aswell, it's starting to drive me crackers as he did get better for a short time and was only a couple of times a week, now we're back to daily.
Soappie found a few to maybe try this one is Sainsbury's one http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/food/recipe/detail.htm?recipeid=10733&prevUrl=%2fFood%2fRecipe%2fsearch.htm%3fcategory%3drecipe%26query%3dfresh%2bcranberries%26pagenumber%3d0
Apple crumble ish one http://southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotdessertrecipes/r/bl90c2.htm so suppose that would go well. Or there is a pear and cranberry one http://closetcooking.blogspot.com/2007/11/pear-and-cranberry-crumble.html
Looking for those has just reminded me there is loads of pears and apples which I bet are ready to turn iffy any day, lack of eating by anyone at home in general means lots of food 'left over' so I think I will try and get those lot peeled and frozen today. Trying to decide if I should blanche them first or just freeze as they are.
Right, anyway, today is mainly a laundry day, first loads just finished so will get that on the airers and get the next lot in. DP has naffed off out, too ill to work last night & went off on one when I said it'd leave us short of cash, only to use the time to make sure everything for his day out today was sorted so he can go and stand in the cold all day, wonders why I get annoyed with him because I know he just took the night off as his things were not ready. He then was sarcastic about the extra money I have to pay out since we moved, because he pays no extra towards it basically, I could have gladly killed him at this point! Oh I am ranting again, anyway, I am pleased he's gone out, couldn't have coped with him sat on the sofa all day.
Will also try and do some sort of meal plan for next week. I am hoping we'll all be well enough to want to eat again, the boys have started eating, DS1 refusing this morning but did eat last night. Seeing as we haven't eaten much over the last week or so the shopping list should be small, fresh stuff basically. I need to have a rejig of the freezer aswell, see if I can get some of the bread in.One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
One load of washing done and spread round the house (I've caught up with the washing basket at last).
Still snotty - I feel as though I've got a feather up my nose!
Having a roast dinner today with the "spare" joint I had in the freezer. That's in the oven and the veggies are prepped. Made a (packet) cheesecake for pudding. Just got to put some fruit on the top later.
Might get the vacuum put round when everybody wakes up.0 -
Not long up but it was great this morning getting up and not falling over everything
even hubby's pleased with the room
.
I can't believe it is nearly the new year, i have promised myself this year that i'm gonna be more os and really save this year, i'm really looking forward to it
but i have to be in bed new years eve before 12 midnight or i'll have a crap year (i don't know why that is or why i think that way
).
Now to sort the kitchen today, want to do a deep clean every cupboard cleaned out.
Now what can be down for dinner, there's not much in(mmmmm i'll have to have a think about it).
Right :coffee: first, anyone want one.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning all, my house is back to its hovel like best. Not sure how it happens. I have a dilemma though, i really should be doing work for my uni course, however in Edinburgh there is always a MASSIVE street ceilidh on the 30th which is sooooo much fun
We do the worlds biggest strip the willow and i really want to go:rolleyes:
