We do the worlds biggest strip the willow and i really want to go:rolleyes:
Bother, you just reminded me I have 3 registration forms to send back for the next courses, I dumped them in the 'deal with after Christmas' box with other things as they arrived on Christmas eve, I haven't even looked in that box since, there is another thing to tackle today.
Upsey welcome, the new list will start tonight but a link will be on this thread so we don't loose anyone. Best of luck with the toddler taming, consistency is the key, he'll believe you mean it when you believe you mean it.
vanilla, I've never heard that one before, but the plans sound good, I have started lining cupboard which seem to get dirty quickest with grease proof paper, very handy when I spilt lots of flour the other day, just pulled it out and threw it away. Coffee would be great, mince pie anyone? Got some brandy butter left too.
**nudges full laundry basket towards Pollybear in hope** worth a try. Feather :rotfl: that's a good way of putting it, my son keeps asking if I have pepper up mine as I can't stop sneezing. One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks for the tip Lil_me, hubby spilt coffee awhile ago and left it, it went really hard and was a nightmare to get off.
Saucepan cupboard is the hardest can't fine any of the lids, all these small lids and big saucepans.
Hi Upsey_daisy, welcome i have a DS who thinks he rules it to, ok it is my fault i ruined him (he's the youngest) but it has to change as he expects everything to be done for him.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning lovelies who has been sneezing in a southerly direction?
I have a cold starting but don't feel too bad so am going out to empty the compost heap which is done and start a new one - DS1 has been roped in to help and DS2 is being dispatched to tidy the playhouse.
We have family this afternoon so I have a gammon cooking in the botton of the AGA. I am using up apples for a crumble, jam for a steamed pudding, leeks for cheesey leeks and the 20p mini pork pies I got yesterday.
Laundy done and that is going to be it for flying although may do a bit in the kitchen whilst cooking later.
G&B go and enjoy the penaltimate day of the year.
Upsey_Daisy welcome! I often stand in the middle of the room saying upsey Daisy and raising my arms and legs - drives the kids nuts!
Soapie hope you feel better soon and you Lil_me.
Embb I was bored last night too, I started looking at a house to live greener site as that is my plan for next year. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Anyone discarding food don't forget the birds - I put out cold stuffing yesterday and some stale cake, they will eat most things but don't give them anything too salty.
DS3 now wants beans on toastThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
lil_me I'd do some of your washing if I had space left to hang it up - but I don't!
I've got 3 airers, it's just the effort that is lacking :rotfl: sheets are over the banister as they just take up an entire airer, I'm on the 4th load now and there is still more
where the heck does it all come from. I had a rant at DS2 yesterday who when asked to tidy his room grabbed a pile of clean clothes he'd picked out then decided not to wear and threw the lot in the washing basket, could have screamed, was a full 'wash load' of clean clothes that I'd have just ended up washing again if I haddn't seen what he did.
Right, someones coming to collect the cardboard boxes off freecycle, that will save me taking part of the extra stuff to the tip. They are coming about 1pm so I suppose I best get showered and dressed, I look like Medusa at the minutebribe the boys into watching a DVD in my room so I can keep an ear on them while I am in the bathroom.
One day I might be more organised...........
