Brief notes turned into copious notes and just spent nearly 30 minutes relaying this information and adjusting lots of the daily living points eg anti depressants are working, no formal mental health support required atm. The anti-depressants help me get out of bed. I have lots of tricks and techniques to keep me well, happy and on an even keel. When these aren't working, I seek help. So a year ago I had a face to face appointment with the doctor (I had 3 issues so had written them out, noted everything I was doing and asking what else I could/should be doing). On mental health I asked to be referred back for CBT and over the past year I've done group CBT, one to one CBT and Mindfulness (which needs to be an ongoing practice alongside the gratitudes, portable rainbows, concentrating on what I can do now, not comparing myself with what I used to be able to do and other stratagems).
It's done, have to wait now for the next stage - them getting back to me. Now what do I do with the rest of the day - sort the basics
FOOD - what do I have, what needs throwing away (didn't check before the bins went out) and is it a delivery or a quick shop (2 hour marathon to get past three houses in our block, the car park entrance, the back of the library, back of the church, sit down on the wall and then across the car park and into the shop.
CLOTHES - lots clean but need to dry. Some I put on hangers yesterday. The line is down (because I'm chopping down the tree it's tied to). There's a load of bedding waiting to go in and I need to change the bed sheets (some strawberries got squashed and there was a yoghurt incident - I sat on it when I was inching my way across to get off the bed).
BILLS - really want a rest from paperwork but would be much happier if all the receipts were stapled onto pages in order and I updated mum's account so I know exactly what is there, how much I still need to give my brother and how much is left that is mine.
I also had a delivery yesterday - I have wooden shapes (an owl and a squirrel, acorns, mushrooms. leaves and my favourite a conker - acid green felt and hole cut out to show the chestnut underneath). I have felt. Some work then some play I think but first a shower.8 -
Postscript
I would very much like to check in to the Hungry Caterpillar clinic where you eat your feelings for six days, have a nice salad cleanse, take a two week nap and then emerge just beautiful and newly skilled.

Busy day at work, small spend on a couple of train tickets for next week, saves me a wee bit if I buy them in advance sometimes.
Applied for flexible working and it was approved, which is an unexpected success! Honestly wasn't sure if it would be but it should be nice.
Trains were all cancelled on the way home so I got the bus instead, saved money although it took about twice as long. I should perhaps do that from time to time. Am very fortunate that I have this option with the new job as I'd probably still be stranded otherwise!9 -

Evening turtles, here’s my update for the day.
Simplify - nothing here today
Essential spends - Grocery, fuel and a postage stamp. NSDs still 10/15. Grocery shopping is so depressing now, few bits we can’t seem to get and paying more for less!
Planning & Prep - Nothing here today
Think about spends - did this today by buying second class instead of 1st.
Eat to nourish - Had left over chilli & jacket potatoes for tea. Forgot to take my lunch to the office so made do with a chocolate bar from my drawer.
Mindfulness - Came to bed early to chill and switch off. Feeling anxious about money it’s just leaking everywhere!
Be kind - DSs friend got locked out so came here, how sensible! so got him dry clothes as he was soaked & contacted his parents to collect him so all sorted.
Exercise - Steps achieved
Report daily - Done

Today I am grateful for a dry day, for a friend taking me out for lunch and a natter, for my knitting progressing, for seeing 4 airplanes in the same bit of sky at the same time (obv at different heights and going in different directions), for dc talking to me, for communication with their HOY, for dc agreeing to go into school late tomorrow and get some much-needed extra sleep in the morning.

Thanks @beanielou 😊
Completes YWA this morning, was determined I was going to let the snappy teacher get to me today. This worked for a bit, sang songs very loudly from my playlist on the drive to work, then a favourite came on, that can sometimes make me feel a bit sad, & when the headteacher asked how I was, I burst into tears! She listened & sympathised & agreed that the teacher shouldn't be speaking to people like that, especially on top of all I have going on currently. Had another cry with a good colleague friend, then I was ok again. Had a nice day the rest of the day. Avoided the teacher as much as possible & didn't look her way in the meeting afterwards.
Got stuck behind a tractor on the way to town but picked mum up & we looked round the new £stretcher shop. Haven't had one on our island before, so a novelty for many people! Did the food shopping then, picked DS2 up & headed home. Put the shopping away & I've just taken the carrot cakes out the oven ready to ice for DS2's 18th birthday tomorrow.
Grateful for kind colleagues, chatting with DS2 on our drive home, exploring new shopsUse it up, wear it out

Lovely riverside walk into town with OH to meet up with his old schoolfriend for a coffee in the pub garden. Nice chat and sit in the sun.
Topped the bird feeders up in the park and fed the squirrels in the churchyard. They were so funny.
Bedclothes washed and dried on the line and now back on the bed.
Small spend today on bird food so still on NSD#2.
Had a letter saying someone will ring from hospital tomorrow to discuss my symptoms and what to do about them. Also waiting for x-ray appointment for my bad thumb. X
