Small spend today as bought some litter and treats online for the rabbits. Also needed some new water filters for my water jug so got those as well. OH and I had a lazy morning, watched the funeral and then went for a walk. We picked up late lunch on the walk but OH paid.
Haven't quite managed to do all the jobs that needed doing but they can wait, was nice to spend time with OH instead.7 -

NSD 8/15OH, DS, and I had a lie-in this morning. Had breakfast, got ready and went to a park. DS cycled round it while OH and I speedy walked after him. I broke sweat. Fed some ducks, geese, swans, and moorhens. The moorhens had a right set-to with each other. It was very amusing… gathered a small audience of adults and children. We spent the afternoon playing card games, word games, and computer games. I also did a bit of holiday research for next year. OH made dinner (spaghetti carbonara) and DS actually ate it! This was a first!Grateful today for quality time together, for a dry bright day, for line dried washing, for entertaining birds, for OH making a tasty dinner, and for DS eating the dinner(!)

Decided it'd be easier & quicker to catch the train part way back from England-shire next month. Will give us a couple of hours to shop & stretch our legs too, before we catch the boat, so booked tickets for that.
Went for a walk, the sun shone & there were fallen leaves to crunch on, one of my favourite things about autumn 😃 was home in time for the funeral starting, so I opened the box of chocolates I was given yesterday & finished crocheting my blanket. Made a delicious Sweet Potato & Coconut Soup, had some for dinner, will do the next two days & a portion in the freezer as well. Cut out bunting for my sewing class tomorrow night. Going to be a hectic day, DH was told he has to fly to hospital in Aberdeen in the morning, so an early start, work all day, hopefully pick him up from the airport (unless told to stay longer), then off to teach my class!
Grateful for autumn leaves, a sunny day, the day off work to watch those in London paying their respects (felt quite emotional when bystanders were throwing flowers towards the hearse )Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Today I am grateful for dc doing a load of hwk, for going out for a waddle, for easy food, for having coloured threads in the house, for my knitting progressing.

Quick check in from me declaring NSD 8 finally!
2 exercise classes done. MPs, meditation and breath work done. Busy day at work today and will probably be the same tomorrow so must remember to take breaks and breathe a bit...
Grateful for a good stretch, for bf loving the treats (mini chocolate croissants) that I left for him to find this am, and for exercise class 2 being cut a bit shorter so I could escape home at a reasonable time.Student loan £5655

Morning,
Yesterdays update;
Gratitude - Today is day 13 without alcohol so very grateful for that. Grateful for being able to spend time with my gorgeous family yesterday, for the pooch snoring and twitching next to me as I type, for my wonderful early mornings all to myself.
NSDs/ Pausing before purchasing managed NSD yesterday so we're now on 7/10 NSDs woohoo!
Yoga/Meditation No yoga this am as I've gotta get into work early and I'm doing a class tonight. Meditated but found it challenging this morning. Lots of busy thoughts were difficult to control.
Eating and drinking 2L again yesterday. Still doing better on the food front too. Didn't quite manage the sugar free day. Gave into rhubarb and apple crumble

On the barge we will go into Manchester past the Pomona Docks. Hulme is close by. I did voluntary work in Hulme and the work done in the 1990's has transformed it. There's a thriving Arts Centre, lots of small co-operative businesses, an award winning Caribbean restaurant, a community garden (the community had lots of input into the redevelopment - they were turned down on having grass roofs - with goats) and many residents have thriving balcony gardens.
Past Castlefield (Roman ruins, the wonderful Museum of Science and Industry, a canal based carnival at the end of summer) and along canal street (vibrant thriving community).
