Has anybody had any joy with this?
My offer has now since expired after 60 days. I've had £136 in my "future" for weeks now. My first eligible payment was 2 Sep and that is still in future.
Also none of my spend from October is showing in "future". That's only showing on my statement for the month October.
It's like virgin money are delaying everything so people don't switch accounts after just moving to them, because there is still some other good switching bonuses to be had.0 -

They probably are waiting to make sure it doesn't get refunded.

They’re useless. Wonder if anyone’s actually had cashback move from ‘future’ to available since the start of this farce.0

*EDIT* My last holding letter dated 11th October requests a further 4 weeks for a resolution, bringing it to 8th November. I have no faith that it'll even be resolved by that date to be completely honest, and no one is even able to say how many complaints are in the queue still ahead of mine. Even to the level of tens, hundreds, thousands... At some stage I will have to take it to the FOS, but don't want to take away their ability to deal with another complaint for someone else instead that is in deadlock... VMs customer service seems to be very poor, and certain aspects have slipped even further in the past few months in my personal opinion. If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
N.B. With your complaint, have you been able to get any transport costs associated with going into a branch refunded? I had a complaint with TSB recently and was able to get the cost of the bus fare to my local branch refunded so every time I needed to go anywhere on the bus I was able to give them a ring, wait for them to tell me to go into branch and then purchase an all day bus ticket. Since TSB have now resolved my complaint a 16 week plus timescale for Virgin Money could be a blessing in disguise.1 -
I've just been on the phone to Virgin Money and after them telling me that the cashback should have been available after 65 days and not 35 days for the switch offer and me making a complaint, the lady I was speaking to received a message to say that there's been a system error and that my cashback should be made available by the end of the week subject to the 35 day rule as stated on their website.
Presumably it is this system error that has thrown everyone else's cashback into disarray. But by the sounds of things we should all be receiving our cashback soon.4
