  • I received the email today confirming I'm 'now' eligible for cash back, despite it being activated on 16th Sept.

Well, today I received an email confirming that I've ticked all the boxes and my cashback offer is now available, a mere month after my switch completed.

Strangely, both my "Future cashback" and my Statement amounts are above £160, though for some reason there is a small difference in the amounts that has been the same since the early days...

ETA: my number of days to earn cashback also appears to have reset as it's showing "Only 59 days left"
  • I wonder how quickly spending are traced in the app for cashback?. Wife did the switch with all requirements confirmed, had offer  for cashback and counter starting at 59 days visible in the app on thursday last week, did some shopping at lidl, petrol stations and tesco on friday and saturday but nothing traced so far?. Should she be worried or its normal? (app says 52 days left now for cashback)
  • I think the delay is normal. Mine is still held in 'future earnings'. I believe it takes a further 35 days to be paid

  • I think mine took just over a week or so before the cashback started appearing in the Future Cashback section.

I'm now waiting out the 35 day period from th first eligible spend to see if any of it moves to Available Cashback.  My offer timer was reset after I received the email the other day saying I qualified (though it's no longer visible in the offers section now that the promotion has ended).  I've already spent enough to get the max cashback so will be having a word with VM if they make me start from scratch...

...and as if by magic the offer has disappeared from my account over night. nothing tracked on my initial test spends which i see can be a while but now no idea whether to carry on spending. i can't be bothered going through the CS saga again. straight to complaint i think.

I've had the 25% cashback offer activated.  Do I need to keep the 2 direct debits on the account through the time of earning cashback or can I shift them elsewhere now?  Looking at the Barclays Rain Day saver but need to have 2 direct debits on the linked current account
