Don't you want to do a trial run before valentines day and easter? Or maybe people can just put on some more pictures of their silicone trays just to placate me? :rotfl:

    I should do a trial run....if I was sensible...but I'm not. :D

This what I have. There you go. :D

Thank you Fifi. I definitely want to put something in the middle, just to add a bit of
    interest. :)

    Another question.

I am assuming it is way too tricky to pour the choccie from the bowl into the moulds. Do you pour the choccie into an icing type bag then?

I used a plastic measuring jug,to melt the choc in the microwave

then poured straight from that into the moulds :)

Interesting. So you didn't do it the usual way of bowl in a saucepan of hot water. How long in the microwave for then? :D

I love all these tips...SO many people to blame if it goes t*ts up. :rotfl:

  • Hi, I melted mine in the microwave (approx. 200g), just keep dinging it for 30 secs. at a time and then stir. I managed to burn some choc. last summer when melting it for my chocolate fountain and leaving it too long.

The ones I made didnt turn out to good. I put mallow and fudge in with milk chocolate but made the mistake of trying to mix it all together first and then had to try and push it into the moulds so it didnt work too well (they still tast yum tho) so then I just made plain white choc ones. I was in a major rush as I rarely get time in the house without OH so when I got home early one did I just took a chance and made them.

My plain white choc ones took longest but they were only a couple of hours max.
