defonatly will be doing more of these
if i make them now will they still be ok to eat at christmas ???0 -
haven't tried adding vodka to chocolate but would think it would be ok - I have used cointreau, brandy, rum and cream liqueurs before and they've all been fine.....not all together though
Aww! This thread brings back memories!
You know what to do Chris, experiment! If they don't work out, you'll just have to eat them yourselfAll in the name of research of course.
You've got plenty of time to do your research before christmas if you start now! (Don't drive afterwards though!

did you have to grease or oil the moulds before pouring the chocolate in or is it jsut as simple as melting the chocolate and pouring it in?I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

It's a long time since I did these but if I remember correctly you don't have to grease the mould, just pour it in.
A tip I learned (way back here somewhere) was that you get shinier choccy if you wipe the plastic moulds with cotton wool first. Not sure if that worked but could be worth a try?I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

Hi me again! well done our first one, a milk and swirly white choc one and so far it looks pretty impressive! couple of things are: how do we do this tempering thing? have looked at some of the links but don't really get it?!..also when we had done it i had this great idea to smooth them over but it started to ruin the lovely pattern so i swirled again and left..any ideas how to get them as flat as poss?
will post pics tom when done and let you know..thanks..x0 -
