My local Poundland sell the small silicone cup cake type moulds. From memory they have about 8-10 in a pack. They also sell decent size butterfly silicone moulds, perfect for a young girl.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
thanks will have a trip there tomorrow0

Have just found a use for the tiny silicon cupcake thingies from poundland, home made choccies will work really well as you can peel the cases off and have perfect choccies- hope no one else has suggested this already cos I haven't read all the thread yet !
Sounds a bit weird but does anyone know if you can add vodka to the chocolate or would it go funny like when you add water to melted chocolate? Or could you add vodka to truffles?
What chocolate does everyone use? I want to keep costs to a minimum as these would just be a little extra gift but I dont want it to taste cheap and disgusting!'They only had one cow!'0 -
From experience Sainsbury's basics chocolate is really tasty, and 27p per bar in milk, white and dark. You couldn't tell it's basics at all
I made some chocolate mint crunch with it, delicious, although once it's been melted and set again it does melt really quickly when you try to eat it. Will probably be ok if you're making truffles though
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

haven't tried adding vodka to chocolate but would think it would be ok - I have used cointreau, brandy, rum and cream liqueurs before and they've all been fine.....not all together though0
