xxxxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -
I bought these little metal cases in a
cook shop last year in Llandudno for
65p each but notice they are sold
everywhere.they are 3.5 inches
diameter and have a loose bottom,I cut
out a circle of greaseproof and placed
it on the inside so they were easy
to get out and I just peeled of the
greaseproof.I found some of these
tins in smaller sizes so going to try
some smaller ones:j:j:j0 -

i sort of wobbled the tin to make the chocolate smoother (gently though lol)0 -
Gabyjane that looks fab,I think if you dip a palette knife in hot water and run over the top when its nearly set it will smooth it out for you but it looks good as it is!Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -

I'm not an expert but it looks to me like the white choc was swirled into the brown choc when the brown choc had set too much.
Could you do smaller test samples and add the white choc sooner?
Though personally I like the fact it isn't perfectly smooth on top. Looks more handmade rather than shop bought.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Forgive me if this has already been asked:
Thorntons do a (small) chocolate slab with fudge peices in it and I was hopefully going to recreate it (i emphasize hopefully) Does anyone know where I can get little fudge peices?
Thanks in advance :j0 -
Thorntons used to sell the mini fudge pieces in the kiddies bags... not sure if they still do or you could try to cut up a bigger piece of fudge.0
