Chocolate Pizza
£17.95!! Far better to try and make them yourself!
They also sell them at gourmetchocolatepizza - see link above.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Another thing I've been thinking about is those message chocolate cups, like thorntons do. http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/pages/servery/AlphabetTrufflesIntro.asp
I'm thinking about using those tiny petit four cases, brushing the edge with several layers of milk chocolate, then once set, filling with white, is it just chocolate in the middle??

thorton truffles looks lovely this was posted by wannna savemore I wonder if it would work if you used this method and let it harden before pouring difffernet colour chocolate in
another use for the silicon cupcakes is to use a brush and paint melted chocolate (not too hot or it's too runny) completely inside the mould - you need a couple of goes to make it quite thick - then peel away the silicon and you have a chocolate case to fill with either small truffles, M&Ms or chocolate mousseI am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

I'm wondering if making a truffle mix (ie double cream mixed with melted chocolate), poured into a chocolate case would work. To make truffles you let it harden, but if you could pour it into the chocolate whilst it was still warm, it may work. Not too warm though, else you might ruin the chocolate case.

Hey pig_let_cool thankyou for that idea it is a fab demo on how to make them..im thinking a homemade one would be so much nicer than a bought/asked for one from takeaway one!! so will try this out!
as for the cutting i guess using a pizza cutter at a certain point would work but i am not sure of the time of when to do it tbh..maybe someone will know..
Thanks0 -

There's a recipe for Mini Pizza Cookies in my Cookie cookbook where you bake little plain cookies, spread it with red icing and either shredded marzipan or grated white chocolate to resemble cheese, plus things like sliced glace cherries to look like tomato, and any other 'toppings' you could think of. They're a pretty good alternative to the chocolate pizzasD'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0
