Looks great Sharon, let me know how you get on slicing it.
I'd like mine to be a bit neater than i managed first time.

the slabs and pizzas look great. Just wondering if it would be worth trying to score the pizza slices after 20 mins/half an hour of setting??
I think my hubby could well be getting a chocolate pizza for his birthday as well as a 'pimped' big mac for his dinner - thanks to whoever put that link on!0 -

However my problem is that it went well they looked great but as soon as you picked them up to put in cello bags they started melting. Has anyone else found this or is there a way to avoid it.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could try using tongs & put them & the cello bags in the fridge before you use them?0 -
Hi i did this one for my friend yesterday and she loved it! it was really hard and fiddly doing the sellophane so deff going to use the bags from now on! going to do different backgrounds and tried some dif ones yesterday which looked really good.
I had the melting prob too and just kept the whole thing in the fridge.0 -
there are some instructions and pictures for chocolate peppermint creams here.
For shortening, I'd use white vegetable fat

I made one for a birthday boy today, wow!
I used dark chocolate on the bottom, sprinkled with cayenne pepper, then a layer of rice crispies, white chocolate, then milk chocolate on top.
very pleased with the result.
many thanks for the great idea.Loving the sunny days!0 -
