My mum used to use cooking chocolate for the little moulds when I was small, was okay then. Can imagine it would be really REALLY sickly after a while though.
For cases etc try amazon and ebay. Sometimes the supermarkets and wilko etc have them.

My local Poundland sells packs of small silicone cup cake type moulds, perfect for individual chocs. Also they have quite big butterfly moulds, perfect for a little girl.

I find cake topping very sicly, tho the economy chocolate a few people have mentioned is very good and melts well. Technically you need high quality chocolate for cooking with but in our world the 27p a bar works quite well doesn't it guys?

Has anyone seen the 'chocolate pizzas'? http://www.gourmetchocolatepizza.co.uk/
Like that one. I'm thinking they would be easy to make, put how would you package it? They are normally packaged in pizza boxes, but I don't know where you'd get something like that from, and I'm guessing they wouldn't be cheap.

Another thing I've been thinking about is those message chocolate cups, like thorntons do. http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/pages/servery/AlphabetTrufflesIntro.asp
I'm thinking about using those tiny petit four cases, brushing the edge with several layers of milk chocolate, then once set, filling with white, is it just chocolate in the middle??

Love the pizza! I'm sure you could just cut a circle of coloured card for the base and wrap in cellophane rather than by a box though.

As for the chocolate cups - they look fab too - they're called "alphabet truffles" though so I'm assuming it's actually more of a soft centre......how about making them with a pepper mint cream filling?

Good idea for the pizza's pooky. I'm going to have a go at one this afternoon. I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm going to have a think about the alphabet truffle things too. I don't like peppermint & chocolate (even though they wouldn't actually be for me!), maybe orange & chocolate??
