If anyone is looking for the silicone trays and stuff B&M have them in the Lincoln store so I assume they'd have them in other stores. The loaf tin one was only £1.99, I have seen them in Asda & Tesco for £5!!
They also had muffin ones and mini cake ones, oh and your thin circle one. All come in a variety of funky bright colours.
Morrisons in Lincoln also have the Thomas ice cube tray and Pooh Bear ones at 99p each.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, and also if this has already been posted, but I made this for my boyfriend last year and thought some of you might like it:
It's basically a crunchy mint chocolate slab, made by melting a big bar of milk chocolate and equal amounts of white chocolate in seperate bowls, then crushing up a lot of hard mint candies like humbugs, glacier mints etc or candy canes, mixing them in with the melted chocolates (save a little for the top) and swirling the two chocolates together. Then sprinkle the last candies on top, leave in the fridge to set. I put it in the bottom of a tupperware tub and it just popped out when set. Then break into chunks, perfect in a little gift box or cello bags.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

Wow! This thread is amazing! loving all these beautiful chocolate creations! It has given me an idea for advent calenders for this xmas as I would make 100 individual packets to be opened every day for my four kids. I found it expensive last year trying to get 100 mini sweetsI am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j0 -
Thinking about having a go at these for christmas presents - have got loads of Easter egss left in the cupboard - do you think they would work? Was thinking I'd try it out and then if successful might get the kids to make them as Christmas presents for teachers - there seems to be so many of them it's getting very expensive so these would be ideal!0

It's worth a try.
When did giving presents to teachers become common? My youngest is 17 and we've never given presents to teachers.0 -
Thanks for bumping this - I'm going to have a read through this evening because I am planning on making a few of these as gifts and also for my pamper hampers!
