WARNING Amazon Christmas delivery problem

i ordered a ds lite which was showing in stock paid for express delivery luckly managed to pick one up in woolies as i had a e-mail back off amazon saying they could not deliver till 1-6 feb 2008 disgracful there will be a lot of disappointed people this year

ive never had a problem with amazon the only thing i was shocked about was when i ordered a £240 iPod it came in the same way as a DVD shorely something of that value should at least be sent as registered post - wellpe fair play to royal mail !

I do hope you all get your deliveries tomorrow, I nearly ordered from Amazon myself and i would be a wreck if i had and the items weren't here by now.

I ordered some stuff on 13th December. One item was despatched on 14th from Jersey - estimated delivery 20th - not arrived. Rest despatched by RM on 18th - estimated delivery 21st to 24th - not arrived. Have bought alternatives from Sainsbury's. Does anyone know if you have to pay postage if you return due to late delivery?

if i were you i would just refuse delivery if possible.
however remember you dont get proof of return postage doing this

Hurrah, 3 out of my 4 parcels have arrived:T About blimin time too is all I can say!!

The last one is a £5 toy for DD so isn't essential but it would have been nice.

Still waiting for mine too, postman has been and gone Also waiting for something through Parcelforce so going to have to brave town today to buy something else for some of my family, they're not local so tomorrow is the last chance I'll get to see them in a while
