:T My order placed last Saturday with Supersaver Delivery came with the postie this morning. My Play.com order also came this morning and that was ordered on the same day.
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Just got an email to say mine has been dispatched but:
Shipped via Royal Mail (estimated arrival date: 31-December-2007).

So much for the email yesterday saying "we expect your order to arrive in time for Christmas"!

Still no Amazon order here either :(

Have sent them an email asking for an explanation as to why they are failing to provide an efficient service. So many people seem to be having problems with them, 2 other sites I use only have bad things to say about them at the moment.

Can't imagine they will have much to dsay for themselves though.

How are people finding out who the courier is, have checked my order and it doesn't say who they dispatched it with.
  • I received the same email saying not to worry....then another this morning saying my orders had been sent today by regular Royal Mail post and had an estimated delivery by the 31st! Have ordered many items on the 17th & 18th with guaranteed before Christmas delivery. It doesn't look like we will have most of our presents in time. I have called to speak politely to 2 different assistants and in the end when they couldn't sort the order out the phone went dead.

since looking at this thread i had a look over some of the amazons today.
some are still coming by special delivery
    some are coming via RM
the 2nd class ones are coming via TNT and being delivered by RM
however i saw some 2nd class ones with RM lables meaning they are bypassing TNT and going direct with RM.

dont know if this is down to amazon or TNT(or both) struggling

My "TNT Express" post finally turned up, and my HDNL parcel is "lost", and they are sending another FOC.
  • Well I spoke to Amazon today and they were very unhelpful. I placed my order on 13th Dec by supersaver and I am still waiting! My account says dispatched by Royal Mail. Amazon said there is no way of tracking this.

Amazon said my order went through before they started upgrading everyones delivery services, however when I placed the order it said "will be delivered in time for christmas".

I don't understand how an order from the 13th Dec is outstanding when all other orders I 've made since then are coming through quicker!!

Does anyone know if I can claim any sort of compensation/reduction if this doesn't come on Monday as the package is christmas presents for OH's family and he is not happy!

if amazon are saying there is no track then its not at your delivery office yet.
99% of all RM amazons are scanned on arrival.(some have no barcode)
    dont give up hope yet
