As a precaution, I suggest you send a copy to the claimant's solicitors and yourself as well. Some PPCs seem to have a selective problem with receiving emails and will tell the court they never got your defence.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hi
I have this reply from their solicitorsGood morning
Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim. In due course, the Court will direct both parties to each file a directions questionnaire. In preparation for that, please find attached a copy of the Claimant's, which we confirm has been filed with the Court.
Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case - in the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call us on 0203 434 0433 within 7 days and make immediate reference to this correspondence.
If you have provided an email address within your Defence, we intend to use it for service of documents (usually in PDF format) hereon in pursuant to PD 6A (4.1)(2)(c). Please advise whether there are any limitations to this (for example, the format in which documents are to be sent and the maximum size of attachments that may be received). Unless you advise otherwise, we will assume not.

How does that reply compare with item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed your Defence?3

Hi
i haver recived a "Notice of proposed alloction to the small claims track"
and it telling me to fill out a questionaire. what is my neck step please

Item 3 in that notice tells you what to do.
Go back to the 12 steps in the checklist from the Defence Template sticky Announcement that you were following and read up on how to fill in the N180 form. You can download one and send it to the court and the claimant.
Note that there is a new version of this form, so read the thread by Grizebeck about filling in the questions that have changed on the directions questionnaire.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I thought I'd draw your attention to this fairly recent thread which you might have missed. You must keep going through all the necessary court procedure phases, but the hope is that your case will follow the same pattern of all those detailed in the thread. Please be aware, this is not a reason to be complacent or 'down tools' on it, you must keep going through all the required phases. If you don't, this won't go away and you'll inevitably end up with a CCJ.Keep going! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
