But i am unsure who to send it to0 -
I repeat...
..it includes details on how and where to send your Defence.KeithP said:worksvanparkingticket said:Hi I have prepared my defense.
where do I send it?
to the county court business center or UK PARKING CONTROL?KeithP said:To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
Did you find the Template Defence thread?
I ask because the opening post on that thread describes exactly how you go about filing a Defence.1 -
Hi Sorry Keith my heads in bits with this
Send your defence to the CCBCAQ email

I think I've found it CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk and copy in UKPC
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/76880595#Comment_76880595- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk but due to the CCBC's dysfunctional systems, only do this during working hours (a weekday) and you MUST get an acknowledgement. Also copy in the parking firm's legal team or solicitors, whose email you can find on any other thread about the same law firm.

Do I need to copy my defence on here?0

That's up to you. You still have a few days before your filing deadline so if you would like others to comment on your Defence then feel free to do so.worksvanparkingticket said:Do I need to copy my defence on here?
But please, only post those paragraphs of the template Defence that you have changed. We don't need to read all the rest wondering what you might have altered.

The facts as known to the Defendant:
2. The company the defendant worked for was the registered keeper of the vehicle in question.
the defendant is unsure if he or his partner was driving at the time as they were on their way home from a holiday and often share the driving
3. The family were visiting the retail park in a long wheelbase van with a bike rack on the rear that would not fit in any of the car parking spaces available. When they askes a UKPC employee in a hi viz jacket who was sat in a ULPC van where they should park, they were advised to park where they did as it would not cause an obstruction. This charge represents a breach of the well-known and well-established principle of promissory estoppel, i.e. that a promise is enforceable by law, even if made without formal consideration, when party A has made a promise to party B, who then relies on that promise to his subsequent detriment.
This charge represents a breach of the well-known and well-established principle that 'a grantor shall not derogate from his grant'. This rule embodies a general legal principle that, if A agrees to confer a benefit on B, then A should not do anything that substantially deprives B of the enjoyment of that benefit

Some suggested changes. Every paragraph requires a number, just adjust the rest of the defence template when you add it back in.worksvanparkingticket said:The facts as known to the Defendant:

The para with no number appears to be repeating a part of para 3?1

And you don't send anything to UKPC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
