Surely there can't be anything suspect about Zego?
Only five months ago they joined The Insurance Fraud Bureau...
[the image is a link - click on it]
Who is this Insurance Fraud Bureau?
I've not heard of them before - but that means nothing.
Their Contact Us page doesn't tell us much.
Digging deep, I can find a contact address in their data protection policy...Data Protection Officer,
Motor Insurers Bureau,
Linford Wood House,
6-12 Capital Drive,
Milton Keynes, MK14 6XTMotor Insurers Bureau???
Even The Insurance Fraud Bureau's data protection offer's email address is listed there as dpo@mib.org.uk.How are the MIB and IFB related?
There are other @insurancefraudbureau.org email addresses elsewhere on their website, so have they just lifted the MIB's data protection policy and without change called it their own?

Was there a return address on the envelope

They seem genuine. The IFB, that is.
Wondering about the data leak being connected to Zego (of course it could be due to innocent/negligent data storage). Other victims also mentioned having input their car data and phone number/address to Deliveroo or UberEats insurance. Maybe Zego every time?
I wonder if Action Fraud has realised this possible connection?Zego need a complaint then reporting to the ICO for serious data handling 'leak' concerns that might have caused this whole issue, and failing to have a proper data privacy policy and contact.
You have to complain to the company before you can complain to the ICO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Please don't panic. This is 100% a scam. The website doesn't even permit any form of payment other than bank transfer where you have no protection because you initiated the transaction.
You find me any business that only accepts bank transfer as the payment method!
I've complained to the IPC about the use of one of its members and shock horror the IPC won't investigate because the ticket wasn't issued to me 😂
They want as little involvement as possible however as Coupon mad has said the BPA are aware as the last parking company DRS tried to 'claim' for was citing being a BPA member of which they were not.
I'm currently in Lisbon with webnic.cc the domain registrar to try and get the website shut down like I did the last site they used.
I've also managed to get the pec-payments.co.uk website taken down as that was the apparent payment for the operator car park enforcement ltd
Bit by bit more info is coming to light confirming more and more it's a scam.
Please report to action fraud as trading standards as the more reports they get, the more likely it is they take some form of action9 -

I am still of the mind that the name used at the burton address is connected to this whole affair1
