Yes. Whilst we appreciate that you are seeking reassurance, at this stage there really is not much more you can do. How is Plan A coming along?

Not very well really, I contacted the school months ago and they were unwilling to help. I’ve contacted them again and they have said they will look into it but I can’t see why they would want to help me.

Really? Do you not pay them money every term for their education services? You are their customer and you could, if you were not satisfied with their service, take your business elsewhere.

Have you complained to your MP yet? I suggest you do and you copy in the school as private schools are getting a bit wobbly at the moment about their "charitable" status and VAT.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people are so timid in dealing with injustices and poor customer service. Perhaps a letter, nothing friendly or cuddly, advising the school that their lack of assistance in getting this PCN cancelled is showing who is the monkey and who is the organ-grinder in their business relationship with their agent and that you will be highlighting this to your MP. You may also want to remind them who is paying them and there are other schools you can choose where you are not likely to be invoiced by an ex-clamper scammer for £170 everytime you pay for your child's extra-curricular activities.

No I don’t, my son doesn’t go to the school, he was just having swimming and piano lessons on the site which had nothing to do with the school otherwise. We’ve spoken to both the swimming people and music tutor and neither of them have any clout with the school. I’ll try and get in touch with the local Mp like you said.

In which case, it may be worthwhile reminding whoever organises the lessons that they may need to try a bit harder to get this PCN cancelled on your behalf as it is very likely to affect their business if you and any other customers are likely to be invoiced £170 a time by the scammers.

An email to the school reminding them that they are equally liable for the actions of their agents and will be held accountable should the scammers take this to court. Also, remind them that your MP will be hearing from you about this extortion racket that the school has contracted to "manage" their car park.

When you do write to your MP, also CC in everyone that you have contacted to try and get this PCN cancelled.

He doesn’t go to either of those lessons anymore, we found different ones for him already and the woman who runs the swimming is a friend of my partner and still wouldn’t do anything to help.

Thanks for the advice, I will see what they come back with from our last conversation and then I’ll email again with what you’ve said if they say nothing can be done still. I’ve contacted the local press also.

In which case, what @B789 predicted, has already happened and you should tell them they have lost you and they should consider how many more victims will decide to cancel their child's swimming lessons if they don't get it sorted.

They said they rent the car park out to the parking company, does that still make them liable?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
