The simple fact is that they are failing in the parking industry This forum will continue in their failure.

Just add up the number of times they discontinue and will equal the number of court spankings they would have received
Their stupid logo "can't pay" should be changed to "We will not win so we give in"
How can the public trust the SRA with such timewasters in their system ?1 -

The numbers they issue are huge and the majority will be paid up
So unfortunately they are highly successful.2 -
And they are the main threat IMHO, so the DRA/roboclaim industry really is our problem.
Parking firms will be relatively easy for the DLUHC to control with set rules.
Roboclaim firms absolutely not. They cause most claims and CCJs and likely only give PPCs a percentage in the pound of the £170.
Remove the £70 and their involvement is far less lucrative. The parking industry would operate far more cleanly without that dirt.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The stats from the MoJ show that only around 10-12% of claims issued in all types of cases, are defended, including parking claims.
So, for the likes of DCB Legal, BW Legal and the rest of the motley crew, it's a numbers game. For every case that they discontinue, or lose at a Court hearing, there will be 8 or 9 others in which the Defendant was scared into paying up, or didn't respond and received a default CCJ.
As said previously, we only see the tip of the iceberg on this forum, and there are multiple parking cases listed at various Courts daily which we know nothing about. I was sitting in a Court waiting room recently with my client, and a guy turned up for a parking case hearing before a different Judge. He had literally no paperwork at all with him, while the Claimant's rep was sitting there with a folder containing all the documents. Lamb to the slaughter, I suspect.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.8 -
