Not sure if I can comment on this thread but as I was scouring the forum for some defence templates, I found this one and wanted to make sure my win was on there. Admittedly didn't see this and this comment absolutely made my day. I was sure as hell celebrating and admittedly paid for a round of shots in hooters which cost me and arm and leg but was for the pressure lifted off my shoulders all down to the amazing work of you guys on the forum. One of my biggest hates is these rogue firms and I absolutely support the cause and will be continuing to learn and help the forum where I can in the war against these scammers. Appreicate all you guys as always and @Coupon-mad for the ongoing support and confidence against the likes of DBL, Gladstones etc

Not a discontinuation, I already have mine counted, but I have been invited by the SRA to provide evidence by 11th March of DCBL acting unethically. I was wondering if I could present evidence from this thread / if there is a report or somesuch?

You can link it and tell them that it has also been presented recently to the DLUHC parking Code of Practice team who are believed to be about to produce their final Impact Assessment to stop this rogue practice, and this thread of evidence was also sent by more than one consumer to the Justice Committee, as evidence to support the recently closed Call for Evidence on abuse of the county court system, which is why the CNBC is on its knees.

Good for you ...... they will of course say they are acting on behalf of their client.

However how can the SRA approve a legal who accepts cases without fear or favour not actually knowing if they are valid. Then goes on to harass people , issue a court claim in an attempt to scare and extort money. Only to waste the courts time and discontinue ???

Is this what the SRA is all about ? what sort of authority are they ?

Strange, when the defence was submitted they were planning to continue.....
Rang yesterday offering to settle, D declined and said see you in court!
Today they've discontinued, trial fee was due tomorrow. 
Some may say that they are cynically bullying and trying to scare people into paying up. But I couldn't possibly comment...
