Discontinuance number:290289Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

We've used @Johny86's Defence and WS as fine examples to refer other posters to. They were plenty good enough to force UKPC and DCB Legal into discontinuation submission for a case where the pair of johnnies tried the tiresome 'leaving the site' ambush.290Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Before even the WS and evidence stage they chickened out.

A good read is this one. 👍
@smurf24 when faced with a £220 'settle or else' attempt by DCB Legal/CEL to rob him of his hard-earned, offered £25 for them to clear off, they then offered a lower amount of £175. The Dutch auction continued until DCB Legal desperately agreed to settle at the original Smurf offer of £25. But their greed got them SFA as the Smurf told them 'too late, I'm paying nowt now, take me to court'. So, the inevitable transpired, resulting in discontinuation number291

Another one I've assisted with over on FB.
Nexus and DCB Legal have excelled themselves with their lack of common sense and poor eyesight ..... or was it deliberate scamming of a totally innocent car owner? The poor keeper had soldiered on for as long as she could on her own but sought help when the email came in from DCB Legal saying they've read her defence and were continuing.A blatantly wrong PCN. Pic of a Vauxhall Corsa but reg picked up by ANPR was for a Renault Megane.I penned a strong email to DCB Legal & Nexus and within 48 hours they've dropped it. Dead chuffed, but appalling conduct.
They did apologise though.....5 -
