    It's a real money-spinner, so they don't care.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Highview/DCB Legal - you've been pandapopped! 😄
The number 8 being considered lucky in some cultures - not for DCBL though!

.... and the two fat ladies have definitely finished singing! 🤓
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I thought I would add my discontinuation from Highview Parking. I received confirmation today from DCB Legal that their client is no longer trying to scam me out of money I never owed them.
    Congrats!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Loving the fact you did that without needing to start a thread, and hope we helped you - and that you know about the upcoming Public Consultation by the Government and will be ready to respond in the New Year when it is anticipated it will open...

...this will be your only chance to change the law, so that this toxic 'enforcement & litigation' model is confined to history.

Hi, I did get advice from PepiPoo who referred me to you guys when I needed the Newbie thread so I am grateful to you and all who offered their advice. Now I hope I can help others beat these scammers.
    Hi,
Although I have received the N279 form via email from DCB Legal I have still not heard from the court to confirm the discontinuation nor have I been notified the court fees which were supposed to have been paid by the 11th January have been paid therefore no letter of the claim being struck off. The hearing was supposed to be on the 11th Feb.
Despite making many calls to the nominated court and waiting on hold for a considerable length of time I have still not been able to speak to anyone despite tring since before Christmas!
Is it possible for this case to still go ahead and if I do not turn up I will lose the case despite the N279 being issued?

You are right to be careful, we have read before that (some) claimants have sent a N279 to the defendant but not the court and the defendant didn't turn up and received a judgment in default.  Try sending an e-mail to the court as well as continuing to phone.
